is the liver triggered by the food to produce a high levels of cholesterol? and why do doctors tell people with high cholesterol and after heart-attack to be on a no-cholesterol diet, if the body produces most of it?also it's so icky that a lot of choresterol is on our eyeballs. ew.

Unfortunately, I know my cholesterol too well. I'm one of those thin people who has very high cholesterol levels despite diet and exercise changes. Sigh.
