Cellulite Reducing Shorts: Cool or Not Cool?

Apparently these biker-chic shorts massage cellulite away with a patented 'wave' knit. They also claim to boost blood circulation via built-in compression. Plus they shape, slim and energize the lower body, tone and detoxify skin, and blast bacteria buildup using silver-ion-infused microfibers. Yowzers, can they cook me dinner too? As always, I am skeptical since many medical professionals have said that cellulite is something we just have to live with. Plus if these little shorts really eliminated cellulite, I think they would be priced at a little over $44.95. But I am a skeptic, I know. Want a pair, just in case they really do work, then buy them from Bliss.com.

So, what do you think?

I know it sounds crazy, but I tried them, and they work!! I bought the LegLuxe ones and tried them for a month and saw a HUGE difference!

BS BS BS. I have trouser socks that have the same wavy fabric; the packaging claimed that the socks will gently massage your feet and lower legs as well as "energize" you so you don't hurt after all day in heels. I wear them because they stay up without me having to fix them all the time, but they hardly massage or energize. These shorts might be different, but I have doubts about any fabric's ability to work wonders on the body.

All I can say is that the other day I went to a Pilates class and this older women in front of me was wearing these, or something that looked a lot like them. I don't know about cellulite but if you get these please don't work out in them unless you have something over it!

Cellulite is genetic and there isn't a cream or a short that will make it go away. And you can't exercise it away either. My legs have gotten thinner, but I still have cellulite. The best thing to do is to just accept your body's flaws.

THE BIGGEST BS..no one actually thinks it'll work, the only solution is exersize and dieting these quick fixes are bs

annaerkul-I was not saying that cellulite is related to food; to clarify, I was commenting on their crazy marketing claim of "energizing" the lower body (which makes no sense). After all, energy comes from calories, which are released through digestion (metabolism).

I think they are supposed to be energizing due to the compression. That's the whole theory behind support panty hose, isn't it? I am guessing people on here are too young and too healthy to have to wear them. Anyone remember the hosiery commercials from the late 80's and early 90's? Probably not...

celulite can actually be minimized with continuous massage...So they might actually make a difference if used often enough. (And azucar_maddy and nikolem2, celulite is not affected by what and how much you eat)
