Introduction

Calcium Chloride (KAL-cee-um KLOR-ide), Magnesium Chloride (mag-NEE-zhum KLOR-ide), Potassium Chloride (poe-TAS-ee-um KLOR-ide), Sodium Chloride (SOE-dee-um KLOR-ide)

Temporarily stops the beating of the heart during open heart surgery. This medicine is used together with sodium bicarbonate.
