- While sitting on your bottom, place your hands behind your hips, so they are directly underneath your shoulders. Bend your knees and plant your feet so they are hips-width distance apart. Turn your right palm so your fingers point away from you.
- Inhale and press firmly into your feet to lift your hips high, engaging your glutes and hamstrings, as you extend your left arm over your left ear.
- Hold here for five complete breaths, gazing at your extended hand or up toward the ceiling. Then lower onto your tush.
