Get down and dirty in the garden. Weeding, mulching, and planting mums can burn around 125 calories for a half hour and make your house look amazing.
Kick-up the burn: Squat down for those pesky weeds.
Kick-up the burn: Instead of one big pile, make a few medium size piles all over the yard.
Skip the blower, instead sweep the porch, sidewalks, and driveways to burn around 106 calories a half hour.
Leave the ride-on mower in the shed and you'll burn anywhere between 150-200 calories an hour.
