Celebrity trainer Harley Pasternak wants to bring balance back to your body. He says he sees too many people focusing on their front muscles with crunches, bicep curls, and squats and not paying the same attention to their back muscles. The result? "Shorter muscles, shorter bodies, and poor posture," Harley explains.
Instead, Harley recommends taking a break from these moves and focusing solely on your posterior muscles for a month with back rows, Supermans, hamstring curls, and triceps extensions. If everyone really focused more on the muscles behind their body rather than the front, people would look a lot better," Harley says. "They would have a longer midsection, they'd have [fewer] injuries better posture, [and] a natural boob lift." Find out more about Harley's philosophy and how to do these recommended posterior exercises here.
