My search for the perfect lunch box is over! I wanted a BPA-free container that included a few separate compartments, and the PlanetBox Rover ($60) has solved all my lunch-from-home needs. It's stainless steel and offers five different-sized compartments to keep my sandwich separate from my fruit (and I love the small center spot that's perfect for a little treat). There are also two stainless containers included to keep wet foods from spilling.
It's dishwasher-safe and comes with a carry bag that has two outer pockets for your water bottle or extra snacks. The actual container is 10 × 7.5 × 1.5 inches and holds 4.5 cups of food. If $60 seems steep for a lunchbox, you could just spend $40 and get the lunchbox without the two sauce containers or case. Either way, I love the idea of having all my food in one place, which means only one container to wash at the end of the day instead of three or more.
If you're a fan of hot leftovers, go for the larger PlanetBox Launch ($70-$75) that includes a separate glass container you can remove and microwave.
