Back on Track: Plan Your Menu For a Week


All too often the weekend presents a string of unhealthy eating opportunities — like parties for the Oscars. Social gatherings and extra free time often translates to more meals out than usual and party food, both with tempting menu choices. Getting back on track after a weekend can be challenging, but my trick for taking control is simple. Put together a menu that outlines healthy meals for the entire week and head to the grocery store to purchase your ingredients. You should definitely do this before parking yourself in front of the TV to watch the Oscars. A stocked fridge will keep you from turning to takeout for dinner after a busy day at work.
