Alex Morgan Pictures and Interview

Alex Morgan became a household name for soccer fans all over the US during the World Cup tournament. One of my family's fave players, her speed, agility, and winning smile was much discussed at the breakfast table.

Recognized easily on the field by her trademark pink headband, Alex was the youngest member on the US roster. She's only 22! The busy forward took time out of her highly scheduled day — she plays for Women's Professional Soccer team Western New York Flash — to talk with me about life on and off the field.
