It is still cold and flu season. It drags on through February so we still need to be playing defense to avoid coming into contact with viruses. I have a little one-question quiz here to see if you know this tactic on how to avoid catching the common cold.

1 of 1Question 1

Mothercare
Zoppini
Cross Jeanswear Co.
I beileve this! I mean, hands have so many germs and yuckies on them...espeically when people don't wash them!
1got it right:) i always carry hand sanitizer, so gross when people dont wash.
2I would think that just because colds are more commonly passed by hands, doesn't mean it is safer to kiss someone with a cold than shakle their hand.
I avoid hand shaking during cold season, and I know it is important to wash your hands.
BUT if someone has a cold and you touch your mouth directly to their mouth that is direct contact, versus them coughing into their hand, passing it to your hand, and then you passing the germs to your mouth.
3This makes sense. I think people are more conscious of their faces, so probably wipe their mouths more than their hands. And Hands touch MANY more surfaces therefore grabbing many more germs. Doorhandles, phones, keyboards, money etc. You don't put your mouth on these!
4Woot!
5Oh for goodness sake. I'd rather have a cold now and then than cut myself off from human contact.
And, for the record, I get sick far less often than most of my germaphobe friends - and I have a child in preschool.
6Yessss!
7Perfect timing Fit! I'm home from work with a bug right now...thinking about my client who said, "I just got over the flu" wishing I didn't shake her hand!
8yay! got it right. now i can kiss my boy whenever i have my cold. i always avoided doing so cuz i was afraid of him catching it, so we'd just hold hands. lol.
