This song made the rounds on the airwaves right before the millennium, and I loved it then and I love it now. After revisiting it today (thanks DearSugar for bringing it back) I realized that there are a lot of basic health tips in here, such as always wearing sunscreen and flossing. More than that, though, it offers basic, simple tips for living your life. The first time I heard it, I laughed and I cried, so enjoy.

2wow i sorta remember this!
3i wear moisturizer with spf 20 every day
Aw, I love this song. It came out the year that I graduated...sort of makes me feel old saying that, actually. Yay nostalgia!
4I LOVE this song. I gave a copy to each of my nephews after their dad died. Strangely it's pretty much the same advice that their dad had been giving my since I met him when I was ten.
I especially love how the song is about loving yourself as you are RIGHT NOW not about seeing your flaws or waiting until you've improved - how you need to embrace life now and enjoy the body you have today and protect the body you have today.
My 'phews couldn't understand why my sister and I would tear up at hearing this song but now that they are older they get it. And they do dance - just for the sheer pleasure of moving their bodies because they know one day they might not be able to and they'll regret not ceasing the opportunity when they had it.
My youngest nephew even got it played at his graduation from high school last year. He edited out the original year and put class of 2007. The parents cried, so did the graduates who weren't drunk.
5i love this....one video i'll always remember
6Nice. I agree with a lot of it.
7oh memories. i love the message conveyed, it's so spot on. and i have learned that more and more as i get older!
8Don't put up with people that are reckless with [your heart].
Yeah, this song came out the year I graduated high school too. (Or was it the year before?) It gave me goosebumps to listen to it again - some of the advice is so true and so pricless, like the line above. It'll be interesting to play this even a few more years from now and figure out which lessons we had to learn the hard way.
9Oops, '99. Yes, the year before I graduated.
10Wow...ummm...
11Thank you. I needed this.
12I have never heard this before. It is great. Thanks Fit!
13I remember this...came out around the time I was graduating from college.
