There are countless ways to boost your work out using your iPod aside from listening to a kick ass work out play list. So if you are on the market to put a personal trainer in your pocket try iWorkout.
iWorkout has recently been upgraded and many new features have been added. The coolest is 101 work out videos made by expert trainers. Plus there are trainer tips, illustrated fitness guides, nutrition and dieting essentials as well as an exercise metronome to time your reps (which sounds both "anal" and motivating).
iWorkout can run on any iPod, excluding the Shuffle, and requires OS X 10.3 or higher. It retails for $19.99, but you can download a trial size version of it for free. Plus, I think you've got to love a product with a name that is also an exercise affirmation.
