Remember a while ago I posted a video called A Fat Rant? Well the woman in that video made this one about body image called "Totally Awesome."
As women, we spend so much time obsessing about the parts of our bodies we want to change, that we overlook the parts that are perfect. This isn't healthy for our self image, and if we could instead focus on the features we're proud of, we'd feel happier and more confident about ourselves. So think about it. Do you have a great butt, strong arms, or toned calves? Tell me, what part of your body do you love?

I love my arms.. They are a bit toned without actually focusing my exercises on them. I like that I don't have a lot of fat in my arms.
1It's so true, I find it very hard to say what I like about my body, it seems so arrogant, but here goes, I have great legs, I just don't put on weight there as I'm apple shaped.
2I too have great legs, and I also have high cheekbones with I get complimented on. I am trying hard here not to mention the parts about me that I hate.....

5It's funny because I actually feel reserved about writing this out for fear that people will think I'm bragging or something - why is it so hard for us women to compliment ourselves? So here it goes
I love my long legs - they are slightly toned from running and weight lifting but still very feminine
6I love my perky butt - actually my husband loves it more than I do, but I still think it's pretty cute!
My arms used to be a little more toned only because lately I've been out of the habit of weight lifting for them - on the to do list for sure.
The one part that will take forever for me to love/accept is my stomach, I'm working really hard to get there but I swear it's the first place my eyes go when I look in the mirror, no matter how hard I try otherwise.
I'm okay with my body actually! I am very petite and I have always liked that. I like my eyes the most, they're green and I have really long eyelashes. I also like my stomach and my butt. I'd say those are my best features.
And I agree with Syako...it's sad that women have such a hard time complimenting themselves.
7I like my back/backside. From my shoulders to my butt. It's very sexy and lean-looking, and my butt curves out in a good way. If only I saw this part of my body more often since I'm usually looking at my frontside in the mirror.
8I love my boobs. And my butt, even though it's a little big for my body. I think that's part of its charm
9I love my tiny little boobs! I never knew how much I liked them until now; I am breastfeeding and they are like two giant mangoes that get in the way of everything. I can't wait to get my little mosquito bites back.
10I swear I'm not a narcissist....... But I do work hard on my belly... I do lots of crunches everyday. So I like my tummy. I get good comments on my butt too. So I guess I like that too. But if it wasn't for the compliments I wouldn't! Sounds like emalove and I have the same eyes!! I like those too!
11Actually, I like my entire body. I have an hourglass figure. It's toned, sculpted, and feminine. Also, I must admit I love my full breasts. And when I'm naked, I look glorious. (As one can tell, I have no body issues

12I have been told I have great ears. Unfortunately, ears are not the body parts upon which people focus! Oh, well, earrings are always an enhancement.
13My eyes are the one thing that I see on a regular basis that I really like. Bright green Irish eyes behind stylish glasses that I learned how to play up early. They're my main flirting weapon, even when I'm only flirting with myself!
On my body, it's definitely my calves. Something about the way I walk makes them super toned despite me not working on them at all, so they're well shaped.
Though, I have a body that wears certain clothes very well. Like GlowingMoon, I have an hourglass figure, and since I've started dressing for my body type, it's so vavavavoom! I've gotten far more comfortable with my more voluptuous bust and wider hips.
14I have a toned and nicely shaped back. I struggle with liking my lower abs and thighs.
15Wow... It's so hard to come up with something, isn't it? Well, I do like my eyes and my hair. I always get compliments on them.

23I have a good size chest - not too big, not too small. I have a nice J-Lo booty, long, elegant fingers, and cute chubby toes.

At 35 I am probably in the best shape of my life, but in a weird twist I care much less about what I look like than I ever did before. I appreciate my body now for what it can do as opposed to what flaws it might or might not have. It can produce 2 beautiful children, run a marathon and cycle up a mountain. I am so thankful for the whole functioning package.

& I really liked this video.. I have met Joy a couple times and she is one of the sweetest people ever. I really applaud the videos shes done.

I'm apple shaped so I don't carry much weight on my legs. I do biking and taekwondo, so my legs are pretty shaped up. I lost a lot of weight over the past few years, and I really like it that I can see my collarbones now. My face, neck, and upper shoulder area all look pretty good. I also like my hair.
(Now I will refrain from adding a list of what I don't like. aaagghh it's hard to do.)

34Well my fav body part on me isssssssss my boobs (32DD - you can't go wrong haha) and my butt/legs. Lately they have been looking really good from running! My bf is loving it!
I would have to say I love my lips, oh and my booty!
35Oh ask the conceited one - my neck, my cheekbones (I didn't know I had cheekbone before I had GBS-at first I hate them now I LOVE them), my shoulders (I didn't know I had collarbones!), my back, my right hand is beautiful because it let's me be an artist, my waist, my calves to ankles and I'm starting to love my slimmer feet.
I've always loved my eyebrows, which is strange to people but I shaved them off when I was 5 or 6 and my mom panicked and said they'd never grow back and I looked very alien. After that when they did grow back I noticed how interesting they made my face look, how they really completed everyone else's face. Well groomed, well shaped or just good natural eyebrows are really beautiful - overly done brows are a horror.
36I love my cheekbones, my lips, my clear skin... and I love my shape! I have a fabulous hourglass shape, it's wonderful! I also love my bust (which is part of the shape, I guess.) I love my eyes, they're so blue.

37I actually like most of my body...I work really hard at keeping it in shape! My favorite part of my body is my entire upper body...especially my arms, shoulders, and chest. I can rock a tank top braless and look totally sexy. I also love my legs and butt because they are toned and muscular and cellulite free. I think this is a really good thread because it is so hard to compliment ourselves as women. The media is always showing us these amazing (retouched) pictures of women that usually make me feel like crap, so it's kind of nice to look at my body and find stuff about it I DO like.

39I love my legs, although they are short, they are strong and curvy.
I really hate my body/face. I gain all of my weight in my limbs, so I have fat arms and fat legs and no boobs. But it also means I have a naturally smaller waist with curvy hips, so I guess that's good. I also have long, shiny, super thick hair. It's the only thing I get complimented on. But I usually pull it back in a messy bun anyway. I have the self esteem of trash can.
40I like my wrists. They're really small and dainty due to genetics. Also genetics has given my a plentiful rack (32G). I guess I like that I am statistically hourglass too. But I'd really love it if I could lose some of the fat from my hips and thighs.
41i like my nose and eyes. most of me is okay. i love my feet. they are cute, and i love wearing cute shoes! i remember i loved them when i was a little girl, and i would hold them up in the air and practice being a panty-hose display.

44I really love my back. When I do yoga or anything like that my back is the first thing to really start showing improvement and it holds form so well!
