Are you someone that has a hard time making healthy choices when dining out? Navigating menus can be tough on even the savviest of healthy eaters so why not get a little help?
Mindful Menus is looking to make eating out a little easier (and healthier) for you. Mindful Menus Wherever ($25) is a small, metal card holder that contains 10 different laminated nutritional cheat sheets for a variety of cuisines for when you are eating out. You can use the 10 credit card sized cards to help you decide what to order and what not to order when you are eating Italian, diner food, Sushi, Mexican, Thai, Salads, Chinese, Starbucks, even at happy hour and more. I love that it is small enough to fit into a purse, because the last thing I need is another thing to carry around. Pretty cool, eh? Buy it here.

what a great tool!
1Neat but I don't think I'd pay $25 for it.
2this would be awesome since I've been writing down everything I eat for a while now but hate when I go to places that don't have nutritional info posted anywhere. I agree with aimeeb though, don't think i'd pay $25 for it!
3I like that. I'll bookmark it and think about it once all of my post holiday bills are paid.
Although I don't think the starbucks one is necessary since they post all the facts on their site and some have them at the counter.
4They need to make one for vegetarians.
5Here's what I did: I went to a bunch of websites that have nutritional info for various types of cuisine and I sort of cut and pasted a "restaurant cheat sheet" and printed it out. I put it in my purse for easy reference and it was free. Well, it took a little time to put it together, but still...there's no way I'd pay $25 for something I could make myself.
6once you've been watching your caloric/fat intake for a few weeks, these things simply become second nature. i don't think i'd buy this with my trusty iphone and sites like fitday.com or dietfacts.com available... plus, just don't order something fried or overly carby, and you'll be ok. eating out should be a bit of a dietary splurge anyway!
