Newly engaged Kim Kardashian resolves to keep the good in her life in 2008 but get rid of the bad when it comes to food choices. What's the item she'll be cutting out first? Deep-fried oreos. Much like many of us, Kim's number one resolution for 2008 is to change her unhealthy eating habits. Here's more.
"I need to start eating responsibly. It's time to eat right," she says. Although Kardashian exercises regularly, she says her eating habits are her downfall. "I get enough exercise," she says. "My problem is that I eat like crap." Although Kardashian doesn't have a specific diet plan in mind, she says she knows how to eat healthy. "I know what's good for me and what isn't," she says. "It's just a matter of making the right choices."
Sound familiar? It does to me since I have the same sentiments about this year. I also know what is good for me and what is not; the real challenge is making sure I aim to choose the healthiest choices this year. What about you?

1I need to just start eating healthier. Less fast food. More protien.
More chicken!
2Deep fried Oreos? Wow, thats a new one for me - never heard of that before.
Hmm, I have to cut down on salt and cheese and eat more fruit. Time to grow up and let go of the college diet with only one semester left.
3this is just like me. i knoe the answer, i just need to make the right choices
4This is her saying that she's gonna get SUPER skinny now......
5I say that same thing every New Year's... Give me a month to fall off the wagon.
6She is Too Sexy! Who is she engaged to?
7where does one get a deep-fried oreo? Anyhoo, I'm going to have to give up my beloved daily pastry habit and limit those to special occasion treats.
8I like a lot of healthy foods, it's just making them that's the problem. Also the choice between sleep and exercise...I lose 50 pounds in 2007, but I'm at my last 20 and stepping up my game is the challenge now.
9Kim is gorgeous and I'm glad she wants to focus on eating healthy food while she's still young.
I heard she is not engaged after all. Supposedly Reggie Bush, her rapper/athlete of the month...
10I think she is beautiful but I doubt she eats deep fried Oreos with any regularity. I think hanging out with crazy skinny white folk like Paris Hilton have distorted her mind (I think why she is dating Reggie Bush and not some Euro billionaire)and she is going to try and be like them.
11I loooove fried Oreos! I don't eat them a lot (like maybe once a year), and even if I make them, they're so filling that you can't have more than one or two.
12Congrats! Chaocticfury!!!
13I think I eat pretty healthy already.
This year, I started eating more veggies and incorporating them into my daily meals...I actually like most of them now.
My "food goal" for the year is to be more adventurous and keep trying new things...it's so boring to eat the same ol' things all the time.
Oh, and deep-fried Oreos?? That sounds so gross.
14I like how she looks...but her butt is a mystery to me!
15i'm getting on the exercise bandwagon. i eat pretty healthily (with the exception of the occasional mickey d's *drool), but i'm a b-u-m about working out. got the new sneaks today to get this butt in gear!
16I think I eat pretty healthy, but I could make improvements (hey, who couldn't?). I personally don't care for Kim (She is way too plastic and fake for me), but at least she's trying to get healthy.
17Well, if she can do it then so can I. I hereby resolve to also give up deep fried oreos. (I think I can... I think I can... I think I can.)
Honestly, I don't believe that will power exits. We're too guided my internal chemical triggers. Just adjust your foods to fit your lifestyle... lighten'em up and eliminate the temptations that you can't control.
18(((((((((KIM))))))))))
Girl i'm right there with ya...I really really need to eat better!!
Sadder is that I don't exercise AT ALL....Oh GOD I just said that out loud to all of you.... well it's #1 on my 2008 T-D-L.
Wish me luck Y'all!!

good luck azucar_ame!!! i don't either, but somehow managed to get 3 days of cardio in this past week...i'm freakin shocked out of my mind! i'm starting with a walk, and hope to pick it up, but heck...if walkings all i can do, well, that's better than nothing!!!
20I'm in the same boat. lol
21Junk food is actually addicting. You will go through withdrawls when you stop eating it. Push through the cravings, though, and see it as a sign that your body is healing after eating so much junk. Fresh fruits, veggies, nuts, and soy milk are my addictions.
22Im trying to eat healthier and it's going well. I managed to cook a full balanced meal last night. I just need to incoporate the exercise in.
23I've heard of deep fried oreos but doesn't it take a while to make it? I always do badly b/c i want junk food instantly or else I'm fine. The preparing it would definitely ruin it for me.
24thats great advice chynablue! Going vegan was the best thing I've ever done for my body. my resolution is to cut out some of the sugar I eat and processed foods. I'm trying to do it slowly b/c I know I won't stick to it if I do it all at once. Hope you're all doing well with your resolutions!
