In-N-Out Burger is a cult like favorite out here in the West. People literally flock to In-N-Out to get their grub on. I won't lie, I recently dined at In-N-Out and with a nutritional information card no where in sight, I had to fend for myself.
So you don't have to play the guessing game next time you go, here is the Breakdown:
The Double-Double with Onion has 670 calories, 41 grams of fat, 1440 mg of sodium and 39 carbs.
The Cheeseburger with Onion has 480 calories, 27 grams of fat, 1000 mg of sodium and 39 grams of carbs.
The Hamburger with Onion has 390 calories, 19 grams of fat, 650 mg of sodium and 39 grams of carbs.
The French Fries have 400 calories, 18 grams of fat, 245 mg of sodium and 54 grams of carbs. BUT they are not cooked in trans fats, so they get a major plus for that one.
The Chocolate Shake has 690 calories, 36 grams of fat, 350 mg of sodium and 83 grams of carbs.

Fit's Tip: Get it with out the "spread" and you can knock off 80 calories, 9 grams of fat but you need to add 80 mg of sodium and 2 grams of carbs.

I am going out West in the Spring.. do they have chicken sandwiches? Are they not nearly as good as the burgers?
Any nutritional facts on those?
1ok i just moved out west and i literally had in-n-out for the first time a week ago. they don't have chicken sandwiches... just burgers and fries and shakes. literally, what fit broke down is what they have. its so popular that you should def try it to see what all the fuss is about, but personally i like places where i have options.
2I have lived in CA my whole life and never more than a 15 min to a In N out..i love love love it!! When you go Lindsb you have to order the cheeseburger but animal style..trust me, if you are going to have all those calories might as well add a few more to make it AMAZING! Usually the only think all day beside my morning oatmeal and some fruit for lunch so I can stay under my 1200 calories for the day..but well worth it!
3they don't have chicken sandwiches, but you can get a grilled cheese sandwich if you ask. it isn't on the menu, but if you ask they will make it. it is basically a cheeseburger without the burger, and really tasty! i was a vegetarian for a long time and could not keep away from those. i actually think they taste better than the cheeseburgers, imo.
in-n-out is not your everyday fast food. their food is freshly made, they don't have freezers or anything. you can actually watch them make the fries from fresh potatoes while you are waiting for your food. oh, and they only use cholesterol-free vegetable oil for their fries.
and fitnessgirl, they have tons of options. they just aren't on the menu! look it up on wikipedia for the variations.
4i love in-n-out burger... too bad its only a west coast thing!
5Love In-N-Out. Its worth all the calories. You just make it a treat so it won't be that bad. Cheeseburger animal style is good.
6In-N-Out is SOOOOOOO yummy, but it's not the best place to go for lunch cuz they are always PACKED. There's one right down the street from where I work and the drive thru line always goes out into the main street.
7NOT a fan.
8in n out is so good. their menu is very small and limited, but it's worth it. i'm watching my weight, but it's always nice to have it once in a while like once a month and a half or something like that.
9okay, i go to in-n-out when i know i'm just going to let loose. i go like once a month and seriously PIG OUT! double double for me. i know it's sick, but i gotta have my fix!
10I love the grilled cheese...it's one of the few chains with veg options that don't leave you feeling sad and hungry.
Anyone know the nutritional stats on the grilled cheese?
11What about a double double "plain" (no spread, tomatos, -just meat, cheese and lettuce) protein style???
12wait they put the small c when they say calories but if you look it up on a back of something they use the big C. does anyone know what i am talking about.if you guys remmber learning this in chemistry.
13When I go to In-n-out, I order a hamburger protein style, which means they wrap it in lettuce instead of a bun. It's really just as good, IMO. then I share fries with someone else, because I their fries are good, but I'm not much of a fry fan.
14As a former In n Out Associate, I would offer to anyone who is interested in having a physical copy of nutritional information to ask for a copy. They have stacks on hand for curious customers. They'll even hand over a couple of the male paper hats if you ask, nicely! =)
15You either love or hate in-n-out! There's really no in between here. It's true that they don't have the wide variety of choices that others have...but they also don't have you food in freezers waiting to be defrosted...it's a bit of a trade off. I love in-n-out.
:-)
16What about Animal Fries?
17mmmm..memories of a melt in your mouth soft warm buns filled with treasures of ooey gooey, in n out sauce, animal style, cold fresh lettuce against a hot cheeseburger!
18We moved out of CA and I havent had one for 6 years!! We are coming this summer baby so Santa Maria look out ...its pig out time!
i love in-n-out. i've gone there every month of my life and had at least 10 double-doubles each year. they are soooo good. yesterday i saw that there was a brochure box on the wall with nutrition packets stuffed into it. i took one and was mildly surprised by the content of the double double and the shakes (two of my favorite item btw). However, I couldn't help but notice that there was no mention of my other favorite animal style fries. I asked the cashier but she didn't know. I called the headquarters (yes it's possible and yes you can do that) and they tacitly evaded it. I'm getting suspicious and I can't find the info anywhere. can anyone here give me the stats? my email is kingskywalker94@yahoo.com. I'll probably forget about this page so i gave my email.
