The holidays are all about large extravagant meals full of tasty traditional foods that most of us are taking the opportunity to indulge in and enjoy.
If you do eat a large meal high in fat, the best thing to do for yourself and your arteries is to go for a 45-minute walk. Even if you've put counting calories on the back burner during the holidays, you should still try to keep your health in mind. So invite your friends and family to join you — not only will you be doing something good for your health, but it's also a great way to catch up while getting some fresh air.

I love going for walks, but sometimes it's tough when the weather is below 20 degrees...
1I'm with you on this one em!
2I'll do it.
merry christmas everyone
3Yeah, cold weather, that can be a problem. Seasons change, our appetites and cravings change. Hence our bodies (hopefully!) change
4My mother and I are going for a walk in about thirty minutes. It's cold out but we have both had our fair share of cookies!
5My boyfriend and I have the Premium Annual pass at Disneyland so we go there every friday and walk around like crazy! For Christmas we went to Disneyland for 7 hours and walked the whole time!!!
6Just think, you'll burn more calories trying to stay warm! This is a great idea.
