2007 is almost over, which means not only are we going through all the best things of 2007, but it's also time to start thinking about those New Year's Resolutions. You know I am curious if you guys have any healthy resolutions for 2008, so speak up and share them in the comments section below.

Michael Kors
Ichi
Peacocks
Start drinking my 6.5 bottles of water a day!
1And eat a bit better (I eat pretty godo already)...
My goal is to cut back on diet soda and start drinking more water.
2Eat nothing that contains artificial sweeteners.
3Make less commitments to other people and focus on myself more. Also, train for my first triathlon.
4Keep a positive attitude, it was my resolution this year and although I found it hard some days, it makes life a lot more fun.
5im going to go vegetarian!
6Get a better exercise regime started, and stick to it! Also, to try and get the bf to get off his butt and go outside with me more and eat healthier!
7Train for small races, keep going with my weight loss efforts (60 down, 55 to go!). Exercise more with my son - provide him a good role model for exercise and good diet.
8Try to eat healthier, exercise more and recycle more. I started recycling a little a few months ago but i want to do more than just plastic bottles.
9Be more consistent with my healthy habits.
10Cutting down on diet soda is a good one. Not to be a party pooper, but my selfishness doesn't like when resolutions are to go to the gym more often... in January it's so hard to find a free machine or free weights at the gym because of all the resolutioners!!!
11Not be so selfish.
SAVE money!!!! (most important)
Eat less sweets and bad carbs.
12To be a better cook and baker (i've signed up for classes already) and to run the Revlon 5K that I've only walked the last 2 years.
13Also pay down my CC and work on a budget.
This year I"m trying to be more specific in my goals and have an action plan for each of them. Hope i can do them all!
Daily gratitude and focus on my job search.
14No more fast food!!!
15Run a marathon
16Harness my carb cravings!!!
I am 3 months sober...from diet coke! But I plan on staying strong, watching my sweet intake, and continuing my training in becoming a runner! If I lose weight that will be a happy addition too
17Simple and Sweet-Live Healthy!
18OK here we go:
Drink more water
19stick with my work plan _ ive been pretty good
cut down on sweets
Drink More Water
Stop eating before I start to feel full
Exercise more
Recycle
Live Healthy!
And the good thing is, I've already started implementing these things before the New Year!
20to keep thinking positive about challenges and to enjoy the small thing in life instead of stressing over stupid stuff. Also to KEEP DRINKING diet coke, I don't care, its my only bad habit!
21Watching more portion sizes, not snacking after 8pm and/or right before bed, keep up the good work I've started on my exercise routine, and drink more h2o!
22Oops. I meant watching "my" portion sizes. The point being to eat smaller portions, not more
23The mantra of the new year is consistency and moderation. No more weight gain/loss (i go up and down 8 pounds regularly - just enough to make my clothes tight and loose). No more eating healthy all week, and then having 3 slices of pie on saturday.
24-Eat less candy! I'm so addicted, not chocolate but the pure sugar candy.
-I have also been a vegetarian for almost 9 years so since I was 16 years old. I want to try and branch out and learn to cook more vegetarian dishes!
251. Make more lists.
262. Mix up the exercise routines.
3. Listen to more music.
4. Eat late at night less often.
5. Cut down on sweets and carbs.
6. Remain positive and take the high road more often.
7. Refer to this list often to keep on track!
laluna27...I'm about two months sober...from diet coke! It's hard!!! hahahaa.
27Eat more whole foods and less with preservatives, to love more, exercise more, and be better to the environment!
28focus on eating healthy rather than just no-fat, lowfat,no sugar, etc.
be present
no more diet soda or splenda or anything with artificial sweeteners
stay within my budget
29I;d have to say
301. weighing myself at least twice a week, it'll help me stay accountable.
2. recycle more and remember to use my cloth shopping bags
3. stop eating before I feel full, it's good to still be a little bit wanting.
I'm going to run the Las Vegas Marathon next December (we're combining it with a girls' weekend/bday trip for me). And keep improving in my pole dance classes & teaching!
31I'm planning to work on better eating habits and doing more cooking. And, this year I will be riding my bike in a couple of centuries (100 mile rides), so I'm looking forward to that!
321. Workout a minimum of 5 days a week, for an hour each day.
332. Only have one small sugar treat a day and try to keep it as healthy as possible.
3. Eat my 5 servings of vegetables.
4. Drink a cup of tea everyday.
5. Take time to relax and spend time by myself.
Just two:
1. Stay healthy and active until the birth of my first little one in July (i.e. gain enough weight.... but not TOO much!!)
2. Get back in long-distance running shape and run the Columbus half marathon in October... hopefully in the same time I ran it this year.
34I'm going to floss every single day. EVERY SINGLE DAY.
35I mean, yeah, I should do that already, but really--I don't.
And just continue to exercise and eat healthy like I do.
(and to stop using the f-word).
I'm starting my new diet today but overall my goals are very tough.
As much as I hate to admit, I need to lose at least 30 pounds this year. I hope to hit my goal by June 2008.
I'm a 'Monday Dieter'.
I start over every week but now its for good. Tonights biggest loser really motivated me. I actually cried several times tonight!
36I am going to reach my weight loss goal! Not to much further now(0nly 16 left!).
Also after reaching goal I am going to try and slowly add more and more of the things that I really need in my diet. If I take it slow I should be able to successfully eat more nutritiously in the long run!
37eat less trans fatty foods such as baked goods, as well as processed meals/meats/food.
38I changed my life with diet and exercise back in August and am very satisfied with my resolve on those challenges. My resolution is to take more pictures and to start a Christmas Club account for Toys for Tots next year.
39I lost weight and got in shape this year so I will continue that into next year and hopefully the rest of my life. For next year I plan on running my first 5k.
401. continue weight loss i went from 147 to 119 so I am pretty happy
412. love the body i now have
3. not be so shy around guys
4. not to be self involved and critical of myself
1. stop pickling my body with artificial sweeteners and excessive amounts of diet soda
422. limit candy/sweets/unhealthy crap to 200 cals a day or less
3. stretch every time I work out
4. run a half marathon
5. go organic -- no more meat from questionable sources
Screw New Year's resolutions!!! This year I started early and joined a gym last night! Now I just need to go.
43I'd like to focus on eating more whole foods and less processed foods. Also, I've let myself get too comfortable with not having a regular exercise schedule. I plan to get a dog and start walking!
44Ok, here they are .... (I swear I am sticking to this list! and probably adding a few more)
1. Stop complaining about my weight gain since moving to new york city and actually push myself to lose it.
452. Kick the diet coke habit that I have started since working
3. Kill my mindless snacking problem and learn a bit of self control (this also goes hand in hand with eating better and not consuming so many "bad" fatty foods)
4. Cut down my going out and save some money (and hopefully the calories too) so that I can get my hamptons summer share with my girlfriends.
5. Enjoy living the life I have always imagined and traveling with my girlfriends.
For 2007, I decided on one annual resolution (run 1000 miles) and then had a friend that I set a few monthly resolutions with each month. This worked SO WELL. The short timeframe for the monthly resolutions and having another person that I proclaimed my resolution to/had to report back to about my success made all the difference. I also did better when the resolution was something quantifiable (distance to run/swim/bike, times/amount to workout, amount of water to drink, servings of vegetables to consume, etc).
For 2008, I think I'll continue on the same path, but where most of the past year's monthly resolutions were health/fitness related, I may incorporate some others this year (teach new tricks to my dog, keep all of my receipts and start really tracking my expenditures, read more books, travel to at least one foreign country I've never visited). Oh, and I think I may keep the 1000 mile resolution (and I'm seriously considering adding a marathon resolution if I can find someone to train with).
46I've decided to reflect rather than resolve.
