I was perusing the fitness videos in Barnes & Noble and I came across this — Nude Yoga & Tai Chi. Hmmm . . . I know there's Naked Yoga classes out there, where yogis practice their asana nude because they think it is more natural and emotionally and physically freeing. So the response in the past from you all to the naked yoga was fairly negative. So I am thinking you'd probably be a little reluctant to attend a live nude class, but what about going naked with a video?

Personally, this is not for me. I'm naturally well-endowed, and at a mininum, I would need a good sports bar for support and comfort.

4It's not cool. It's one thing to perform them nude but it's an entirely different thing to watch a dvd of people performing yoga and tai chi naked.

6Hmmm . . . I answered "undecided" in relation to whether I would be comfortable doing a nude video class in the privacy of my home. So, the answer to that is "maybe," in relation to being nude myself. I hadn't even thought about what's involved in watching the video in order to participate. Uh, no . . . on second thought, I'd like to change my vote to "no." A bit too up close and personal for me.
7If you want to do yoga or pilates in the nude, then take your clothes off and do it at home. I don't see why you would need a special video for that!
8I think these DVDs are done solely as a porn alternative. A few years ago I was searching for a new yoga DVD and came across one that looked pretty cool. The instructor was young and attractive. When I started reading the reviews of the video one guy commented something like this, "the girl looks pretty hot and is really flexible. She wears cute little outfits that fit her yoga body well."

12If I wanted to do yoga or tai chi nude, I'd just take of my clothes. I don't need to watch other people doing it nude.
13What exactly is the point of doing yoga naked again? It can't possibly offer any benefit except to provide eye candy to men. I can't imagine working out without a sports bra and underwear, at the bare minimum.
14I too don't particularly see the point of a special "nude yoga" video. If that floats your boat, well I think you can do just about anything naked, and I'm sure you don't need a special video to learn how to dust in the nude, or wash your dishes in the nude, etc. On a more personal note, I really don't think I could get into the yoga mode when I know all of my personal bits are hanging out there in a not-very-flattering way...

I agree though that if one wants to do anything nude, then just do it, does one really need a video to show you how?
you can't perform yoga nude, when U are just starting. You have to practice long enough for years, and learn how to go into transe, and learn how not to deviate by any kind of stimuli - voice, pain, heat, ...anything.. only after that stage, you can do yoga nude. because, being nude wont make any difference to you at that stage, but will just make it more natural. and ya,, definitely you don't need nude DVD to watch to practice it nude.. simply get DVD without nudity and practice at home, and if you want, just take of your clothes ( only if your mind is not getting diverted by doing that, that I bet wont happen until few years of practice ). Make sure, no one is watching you !!
