I'm a recent running convert, and I have to admit that I've written off running for years due to my rather plentiful bounty of up-top lady lumps. Since starting running, I've been wearing two sports bras at once, and this weekend I grew tired of this strapping-down and layering-up of the spandex, and walked into the Title Nine women's sports store in Berkeley, California.

When I put my bra on for my run last night, I was a little skeptical. I'm a 36D, and bouncing is a fact of life. My fiancé was even less enthusiastic, "You look small; small is not better," he complained. (This is a point on which he and I agree to disagree.)
I didn't realize until halfway into my run that . . . I wasn't bouncing! Holy cow, it was a weird feeling — and a very comfortable one at that. Title 9 rates this bra as a Four Barbell bra out of a possible five, which means it's supposed to be great for big-breasted ladies like me. I also like that the underwire offers definition and doesn't give me the potato boob that is often the effect of nonunderwire bras. I offer a very enthusiastic positive recommendation of this bra! The only bummer is that, like most large-chested bras, this one is only available in white and beige.
