Most of us are pretty particular about our footwear and running sneakers are no exception. Some women are pretty particular about the brand of sneaker they wear when exercising. Whether you choose because of the style, fit, comfort, activity level, or price, nothing beats a great pairs of kicks.
Since I am going to be asking about many of your favorite things, I really want to know. . .

Hugo Boss
Avon
Polo Ralph Lauren
I voted Asics because I believe they make the best sneakers, but I also started to love Nike since they came with the Nike+ stuff.
1I've actually had the same running sneakers since first year in high school which is 3 years ago! Uhm, perhaps I need a new pair?? Anyway my answer is Adidas
2I love my Saucony Pro Grid running shoes! I was getting major shin splints with New Balance so I went to Fleet Feet and they immediately put me in a pair of Saucony shoes. I haven't had a problem since.
3Asics trumps all.
The Asics Equation Women's shoe in red and white is the best looking shoe out there...not that I'm biased!
4Asics. Simply the best.
5i've been running in the Nike air max moto for about 10 years now..i love them, although the shoe has undergone some modifications over that time span. i still love them. i have a pair of Asics Cumulus, which i like, but they are heavy..so racing in them is impossible. they are fine as a training shoe. recently i bought a pair of Brooks trail running shoes. i ran with them this morning in the snow and my feet hurt. i don't know if its because i don't have my orthodics in or if its just because its a new shoe for me, but i was thrilled with them..
6Brooks are so comfortable and do the job. The only one for someone who suffers with a bunion.
7I have duck feet-nothing fits me except New Balance!
8I love my Pumas! But I think on Boxing Day, when I buy some new ones, I am going to talk to the sales person and try out some other ones
9I love Nike Shox. They make the impact of running next to nothing. Good for my knees and shins!
10I voted Nike because that's what I wear right now. But I honestly don't know... I want to try out some other kinds for my next pair because I'm not hugely happy with my running right now.
I have Nike Air Pegasus and they just don't seem all that great... they're not bad, but they don't blow me away.
Asics seems to have a big following... maybe I'll try them next.
11UK Gear, hard to find but both my husband and I love them. And the British Army.
12I have bunions (I have horrible dancer's feet) and I hate Brooks. Pretty much everything besides Asics and possibly Mizuno are evil on me.
13I voted for Adidas because that's what I wear to work out in. I'm just working up to running and am looking at Asics because I've heard nothing but good things about them.
14Nike Shox here too ... they are great
15Nike uses sweat shops! STILL! So, I chose New Balance even though I wear Asics, but I HATE them, so I'm shopping around for good New Balances...I had some for like SIX years and they were amazing!
16I am stuck right now... I loved New Balance and then switched to Asics for something different, and they were ok. Then I got Nikes because my running guy told me that they are a lot better now than they used to be, and they are alright so far. I think I might try Mizuno or Brooks next time...
17Asics! It's no coincidence they win best running shoe year after year.
18BTW almost every shoe company uses the same factories believe it or not. There are a few brands still made here but not many. I have been in the factories and it is amazing to see how many different companies can be in one factory.
19I'm an adidas person myself. Especially their Supernova Ground Control System line.
20I have a pair of Mizuno's that fit me like nothing else, love them. I had a gift card to Nike so I got a pair of Nike running sneakers (can't remember which ones) and I absolutely hate them.
21i have a very narrow heel but my feet are wide at the toes, and asics fit me perfectly! i love them!
22Brooks, I've been buying the same running shoe for 3 years now. Have tried other brands at Fleet Feet, but my tootsies feel best in Brooks.
23for you brooks people, what shoe model do you have?
24brooks radius. i buy the same model each time now. why take a chance with something that i do so much in? They are really comfortable, but again feet are like snowflakes! No 2 are alike.... er wait.
25Nike and Puma .... most comfortable anyway
26I know Nike is evil and yet... I can't live without my Air Pegasus! They're the only shoe that doesn't screw up my knees or give me a headache. Plus, they're pretty!
27ASICS!! I love running 5k races and I find that these shoes support health of my legs and knees. ( or so i believe...lol)
28Another Adidas Supernova fan. My last pair needed replacing and I was thrilled to find a pair last month, 60% off - early Christmas gift to myself!
29Nike, I have flat feet and Nike's fit me perfect everytime every style. I have tried Adidas and they never feel right.
30I saw a guy running at the gym wearing old school converse once.
31Spira makes the best running shoes ever!!! They have springs embedded in the shoes to absorb some of the shock from your knees and joints. They are currently banned from being used in professional athltetic events because they supposedly give the runner an unfair advantage. They're working towards getting that banned removed, which I believe to be a bit unfair.
They truly are amazing, though. I'm an outside jogger and have had no knee complaints since I've worn these. I LOVE ME SOME SPIRA SHOES!!!
32New Balance, New Balance, New Balance.
They make a wide toe box, which is sooooo comfortable. As well, I'm a terrible over pronator--my knees and feet roll inward. It's an awful problem and it causes a lot of unnecessary knee pain. New Balance, I've found, makes the best shoe to prevent and correct for overpronation.
33mizuno! those things have never EVER given me problems, i'm about to get my second pair for christmas! yipee!
34New Balance.
I recently went looking to upgrade to a newer pair of New Balance. The shoe section employee explicitly told me that that's the brand he always reccommends when people ask for suggestions. We totally had a fanboy/girl gush about how well they hold up, the forms and fitting and body impact. This wasn't even the first time a shoe salesman has gushed about New Balance with me, it's happened quite a few times!
35Nikes are the only ones narrow enough for my feet. New balance and Adidas are way too wide for my feet. My Nikes have held up forever, too.
36I love my new pair of asics, they're white and pink and silver details and my feet pain when running and stuff hasn't been as bad!
37I LOVE Asics! I'm wearing them now...
38i've been running in Nikes for a while now - and i sometimes switch it up to asics - but either way they are good shoes!
39i never realized what a difference sneakers actually make until i bought my first pair of asics! they're the absolute best
40Asics Equation, best shoe ever for my feet. There are very few options for us suppinators (under pronators)and these really fit the bill. I also have the dancer bunions and these shoes got me thru my first marathon. Super cushiony, snug heels, amazing shoes.
41I wear Pearl Izumi and I love them!!!
42I go between Asics and Saucony-love them both!
43Brooks are the true running shoes! I tried Ryka but they just gave me bad shin-splints.
44I love my New Balance, but I know some other people who have had problems with them. In the end, I voted for Nike. My Nike Shox are, by far, the most comfortable shoes I've ever worn! I love them!
