For some of us, fitness partners are the best way to keep motivated. Right now, my fitness buddy is my husband. We've been running together at night since it gets darker earlier these days. What about you, do you have a fitness partner?

alone
I would kill for a partner but my close pals aren't so into working out
I'd love to have a friend work out with me, but none of them are committed! They go once and thats it!
I like working out alone because it's almost impossible to find someone on the same fitness level as me. If I work out with someone fitter, I always feel bad about slowing them down, and if I work out with someone not as fit, then I have to work out later against because I feel like I didn't work hard enough.
We make the perfect team ... I worked out with a friend before I moved but she was always canceling on me it never really worked out (no pun intended). Me and my BF go all the time though...Im much more motivated with him by my side
My workout isn't really partner friendly, so I said 'other'.
My college roommate and I are training for the same event that's coming in June, so we do the same workouts and keep one another updated through e-mail and calls.
Nope! It's just me myself and I and honestly I like it that way!
I run alone in the mornings(my bf's not so into running) but after work we lift together at the gym. And sometimes on the weekends we play tennis - he's a former Division I tennis player though, so he pretty much kick my butt!
but I'd love to.
I have a trainer so it's just like having a partner. But it helps me because if I know i have a session I always go otherwise I wouldn't.
Alone for now
Like sophieintehcity said, I would kill to have a workout partner. I am working
on my hubby though...his new years resolution is to start running with me!
i like working alone cuz it's also my "meditation" time or "alone" time...if that makes any sense whatsoever...
I'm with mcreverie - my workout time is my solitude for the day. I get to spend an hour with absolutely no distractions. I prefer to keep it that way!
I used to work out with someone else. My roommate from my first year of college. We went all the time together, but then we moved away, and things happened, so, now I'm solo. I don't really mind it.
I used to with my mom but now it's just me.
I work out with my sister, and for the most part it is great. Every once and a while though, if either of us is feeling lazy and wants to skip the gym, we both end up losing motivation!
I work out with my doggy!
I always go out for a run with her, she keeps me going.
I used to work out alone and never seemed to stick to my workout regime. Since working out with my boyfriend, it is impossible to skip a workout. He won't let me!
why is "best friend" an option? i can't just workout with a friend who is not my best friend, not my husband, not a coworker and not a relative.
I like to work out by myself, I don't like having to be at a certain place at a certain time. I do like to do my short runs with my pooch though.
No, I can't work out with anyone else unless its hiking. I like being able to go to the gym, do what I want, and go at my own pace.
My boyfriend is my workout partner.. it's a lot of fun. He's very strong and basically he deals with me being a wimp ha. He's just such a freaking cutie!!
I had two friends that I worked out with for a while, but now they attend a different gym. So I'm pretty much on my own. But I'm happy to have found more fitness-minded friends these days.
i grew up playing team sports, but i prefer working out solo.
i do my own workouts, but my husband and brother-in-law all go to the gym together. buddy system!!
I have a trainer, and I would never ever work out without her. A) because it motivates me to know I have an appointment, B) I wouldn't know what to do at the gym without her, and C) she and I have a fabulous time together! Plus, she stretches me out at the end of our sessions. SO GREAT. Completely worth the money.
I work out by myself...in the peace and quiet of my home with my DVD's!
It's mainly just me. But I would consider the folks that are also regulars in the classes I take and teach.
I mostly work out with my sister... but she has some friends that I have become friends and sometimes my ex tag along... it's like a big social gathering at my gym!
I'm not really into working out. i get most of my exercise through dance.
i would like to, however. i have a few friends who wanna work out as well, but we all have crazy schedules, so it never happens.
I don't really work out. My sister and I do bellydance together though...it's really good. It has made my joints (especially the hips) much more flexible and has relieved a lot of pain in my back that I have gotten from being in a car accident. My boyfriend loves it too.
i'm really lucky to have my workout partner/best friend.
it was our workouts that made us best friends. yay fitness!
My work out is definitely "alone time." I use it to decompress, and having to interact with someone else would probably get in the way of that. Also, I'd rather keep my red face, frizzy hair, and sweat-soaked spandex private.
