In the spirit of Thanksgiving, this week's Biggest Loser focused on taking stock in the current moment and giving thanks for all the changes made.

The show began with contestants looking at photos of themselves from the start of the show and appreciating the difference in their bodies and faces. Hints were dropped of a big surprise to follow. Of course the black team had to discuss and attempt to resolve Isabeau's tie-breaking decision to vote Amy off the show last week. The black team felt that she had ruined their well thought out strategy and Jillian made no attempt to hide her disappointment. Isabeau definitely got the cold shoulder from Jillian the next day in the gym and made quiet threats of defecting to the blue team. Nothing became of this, but the interpersonal drama is always intriguing.
The big surprise was a trip to the Days of Our Lives set where Alison Sweeney, the host of BL, works her day job. The contestants were treated to the ultimate makeover with lots of pampering, and the final surprise of all the contestants having a shot at being selected for the cover of Prevention magazine. Shades of Project Runway? But no criteria was given to how the cover girl was chosen. Before the photo shoot, all the contests were reunited with a loved one. There were lots of tears and hugs and all around camaraderie. However, I did find the big reveal of the loved ones hiding behind a double mirror that slid away a tiny bit cheesy. I am now about to reveal who made the magazine cover, so skip the next sentence if you want to stay in the dark.
Look for Kae on the cover of Prevention looking hot and wearing red!
The challenge on this episode was a physical metaphor, and the contestants had to physically stay above a yellow line by climbing a rope that was also slowly being lowered. The prize was definitely something worth climbing for – a $5,000 shopping spree. Kae was once again the winner, and it is hard to believe that this was her first-ever challenge win!

After winning the magazine cover and the shopping spree challenge, Kae was sent home with parting words of deep respect from every voter. She lost three pounds this week and that was not enough to keep her above the yellow line. She was marked from the beginning as the biggest threat, so while it wasn't a surprise she was voted off, it was disappointing. I thought she had a chance to win the whole thing. Like the women on the black team, I hope a woman wins this year. Kae spoke to iVillage about how she hopes to be the home winner. Good luck, Kae!

This was a great episode. I actually cried a few times at the loved ones behind the mirrors (cheesy, as it may be). Their reactions were so touching, especially Kae's husband.
Jillian is awesome and is my favorite trainer, but I can't help but root for B to win this whole thing. Well, him or Bill. Great episode. Thanks for the recap, FitSugar!
1OH my gosh. This episode was AMAZGIN! Kae just BLOWS me away. I can't stand the black team girls, I just wish they'd stop playing the game and being cocky. It seems so ironic that the 2 people I thought could win this from the get go are gone.
2All in all I love Bob and i love how he cares so much. Hi reunion with Kae was heartwarming.
I too hope B goes far, but I can't stand Kim.
I just don't know who to root for anymore.
I feel a little sad that Kae was voted off, I mean, she's been pretty low-key of a player and was disciplined and worked really hard, and (since I've not watched all the episode so don't get mad if I'm wrong) she doesn't seem to be in all the 'drama.'
It's odd though, I think, just because you're working very hard, losing a lot, accomplish a lot, it doesn't mean you're going to 'win' in the end. That sux! But at least, she's proven to be very inspirational.
P.S. I think Bob (is that the trainer's name?) and Kae were so adorable hugging each other so much during the reunion
3Last night was the best episode I ever saw for BL! Also I was saddened to see Kae go! She is such a ray of sunshine and I know it's silly but I truely wish her all the best even though I don't know her.
4Here are my thoughts: Kae was definitely the strongest, most level-headed player. Next in line is probably Bill. I'm not sure who I wan't to win. I agree with Renee that Kim is annoying. Can't stand her. I love Isabeau for keeping B around instead of Amy, despite her teams' reaction. I think it's amazing that Jim has continued to lose so much weight on his own!
5I only watched during commericals of other shows, but they all looked amazing. I love that they got to see their loved ones. That would be so hard to go through so much without having them there.
6yeah, it's too bad kae is gone, she was such a strong player. but i loved that reunion with her and bob. she looks so amazing.
7This is the first season I have watched this show, and it has just sucked me in. Kae is fantastic. I'm sad she cannot win the title, but I hope she wins the at-home contest. She looked amazing at her weigh-in; she was adorable. It was really inspirational to see her so glowing and excited and doing so well 3 months later. I agree with katies104 about Isabeau's decision. I wouldn't say Amy didn't deserve to be there any less, but I was really happy B got to stay.
8It was a good episode, EXCEPT for the whole Days of Our Lives kissing up stuff.
