I'd love to be able to use tampons however, as a result of them making my already unbearable cramps even worse, my OB/GYN won't allow me to use them. My preference would be tampons but in
reality it's pads...the pain meds don't help.
They make mine worse too! I wasn't sure if I was just imagining it, but when the cramps get too bad, I have to go with a maxi instead. I can't believe I just posted that.

BTW Jenn and tra, I'll have to do a little investigating on the whole cramp and tampon thing. It doesn't make sense to me because cramps are muscle contractions and I don't know where the
tampon fits into this...hmm. If I find anything out, I'll let you ladies know.
I'm with fluffy bomb. When I do have to wear a pantiliner I hate it....constantly feel it and am miserable. As for making my cramps worse...if that is true I will take it as a trade off...
I a product called a menstrual cup. You insert it and it holds (not absorbs) twice as much as a super plus absorbency tampon. No string, no cotton ripping your insides more protection no TSS
issues against leakage and no bunched up pad. These things are awesome.

1tampons on most days but pads on really light days.

14tampons during the day and pads at night.... I think thats what I did its been so long lol 35 more days I wont be saying that though.
15tampons aren't as healthy as always (pads), these are the only one I use since i had periods. tampons are for swimmingpool or sea-swimming days only.
