So the big day has come and your Aunt Bethany has cooked up a storm. Now it's up to you to try and pick the items with the fewest calories from her traditional Thanksgiving-meal spread. While each item may not have substantial differences in calories, remember you'll be eating a lot on Thanksgiving, so every decision counts.
Good Luck!
1 of 5Question 1

Finesse
Early 20
Rag and Bone
4 out of 5...not too bad!
1Doesn't *everyone* get to indulge on Thanksgiving?
24/5...dang I thought the sweet potatoe was a better option.
3see, but you aren't factoring in that I make my ranch dip with lite sour cream vs. the spinach dip from Trader Joe's that is loaded in fat and calories. PLUS, I do a savory sweet potato which is much better than my fatty mashed russets with sour cream, butter, and heavy cream. I guess I agree with the premise, but I think it's really subjective to how each of us cooks.
4Forget the calorie counts - its Thanksgiving! It's one day out of the year! Get a good workout in in the AM and then don't give it another thought. That's my plan.
5i don't gain weight so I'm eating whatever on that day.
65/5. BAM!
75 out of 5! And the stuff I picked is really what I would choose! Yay!
8I'm so glad that my favorite foods are also the healthiest ones! Except pumpkin pie...I can't stand pumpkin pie...
9you forgot stuffing. I can be strong when it comes to dips and pies and potatoes but put stuffing on the menu and im doomed. ive been known to finish a whole box alone. ugh..!
10I forgot that people make sweet potatoe casserole with marshmellows. ARg!
11I'll be indulging that day, and back to the gym on Friday!
12I prefer my sweet potatoes on the savory side too. I had sweet potato fried out at dinner tonight, and they were coated in cinnamon and sugar. Olive oil and salt would have been more to my liking.
13I got 5/5 and we don't even have thanksgiving over here!
14ah......... we should indulge ourselves ....... once in a while.. haha
15Really? There are wrong answers?
16You forgot that apples are a natural laxative lol.
