If you love running outside, but aren't into Winter running, you may opt for using a treadmill. Buying one can be pretty pricey and so can joining a gym (those monthly payments really add up).
Check out this creative and less-expensive option using a door, a resistance band, and a door anchor.
NO TREADMILL? NO PROBLEM. HERE IS A GREAT TIP - Funny videos are here
This does seem a bit dorky, but it really provides an excellent workout. Tell me in the comment section below if this is something you would do.

British Knights
Max Mara
Topshop
uh...no.
1That's what the actors in 300 did to achieve their 8-packs.
2Silliest looking workout, but I'd give it a shot.
3Wow, it looks like he gets a great workout. Maybe I'll try this at home.........................

It may be a great idea, but I just couldn't help but laugh at this.
5haha i would laugh too!! but when you got nothing you work with what you do have... right!!?
6Hey if it works right?
7
Sorry, sorry but that guy look soooo funny!
8Sorry, but that is just a BIT too dorky for me. I might try it at home when no one can see me, but I'd never do this in public. I've never seen a band that big before though. Where would you get such a thing?
9I would try it...he's burning a lot of calories! And the guys from the 300 looked great!
10haha if i got that desperate to work out i would definitely give it a try
11I so want to try this. I'm always too lazy to go to the gym so I love finding stuff I can do at home, especially if it requires little space. This also seems fun to do since there are a variety of exercises and I tend to get bored with just running. Does anyone know where to get the band and door anchor?
12Most of what he was doing could be done without the bad. The running bit basically looked like he was marching in place. Maybe I need to try it myself though...
13hmmm well if the guys from 300 did it
14i feel like i might break the door before i got a good workout!
15I was waiting for Steve-O to pop into the video...lol...I think I might try this when traveling. Could be something good to kill time and burn calories in the hotel room.
16Haha, it actually looks like fun to me!
17I kept waiting for someone to open the door.
18hahahha omg that was so funny. I would totally hurt myself doing that. I really want one. Where can we get the components Fit?
19I think it's cool. It's a cheap way to work out, and I'm always in for that.
20Would you not get a major rash/burn where the band touches your mid-section? It just looks uncomfortable.
21I think I might start doing things like this in conjunction with the treadmill.
22I'd try it, if I knew it worked my body the same.
23It might hurt your tummy.
24OMG are you guys kidding me? There are much more dorky looking workouts out there right now.
This guy looks plain in shape to me. I would def. try this (I'm doing it tonight) because right now it's icy outside, and I can't run without thinking I am going to fall and crack open my head.
Thanks Fit!
25Yeah, I think it'd hurt my tummy. Plus I don't think any of my doors would stay shut.
26HAHAHA!
27Crazy. I have to try this.
28hahahhah so dorky
but must work out tho
29hhahah this totally made my day - so funny! if i didnt have a treadmill, i'd give it a shot.
30So what if he looks silly. I don't think he does. I think this a great idea!! My husband, who is a trainer has used similar movements with his clients with excellent results.
31I would definitely do this -- especially when I'm traveling since the equipment is light & I never know what conditions will be at the place I'm traveling to!
32wow
33effective and cheap?
i would!
that looks sooooo funny..i think if i saw someone doing it here id burst out laughing!!
