I love Heinz ketchup. An omelet without Heinz ketchup just isn't the same. But when I looked at the ingredients on the back of my beloved bottle, I knew I'd have to live without.
So I checked out the healthier varieties, but the taste of those other brands just made me long for the thick, rich tomato-y taste of Heinz. They weren't bad, they just weren't Heinz.
But then I found Heinz Organic Ketchup. And I have to say - it's even better than the original. It tastes fresher, and I feel good eating it because it doesn't have corn syrup or other junk in it.
Another great thing? It only costs about $2 a bottle. Now my body, my mouth, and my wallet couldn't be more pleased.

My mother-in-law worked at a Heinz factory and refuses to eat ketchup. She won't tell us why, which scares me, so we don't eat it anymore, either.
1Is ketchup really bad for you, cause I love it! It must have a lot of sugar in it.....can someone help me out?
2yes ariel, its loaded with sugar
3Awww man!!! It was too good to be true...Im gonna try this organic kind....thanks purplesugar!
4I love organic anything just about!
5it's so scary to hear that americans typically only get two servings of vegetables every day: french fries and ketchup.
although i think i'm going to start buying the organic version from now on! i always hated the high fructose corn syrup!
6i looooooove organic heinz! i agree it taste better
7I'm going to try it too! I hate how regular ketchup has so much sugar in it. Rubialala, which factory did you mother-in-law work at? There's one I've been near in Ontario, CA, and the whole town smells like ketchup.
8There is sugar in organic ketchup, Heinz has a one carb ketchup with 75% less sugar in it.
Not that I have to worry, I can't stand ketchup.

9i am worried about the first comment where your mom said not to eat it because she worked there! what went on??? omg, i am going to have to investigate!
10It's not the sugar for me, it's the chemicals in the regular one that makes me eat the organic one.
11Katie - Where did you hear that Americans typically only get two servings of vegetables a day french fries and ketchup? That might be true of some, but that's a pretty broad brush you're painting with there.
