Chances are when you workout, you have a water bottle close by to stay hydrated. That's not all I like to have with me though. If I go for a run outside, I usually have my keys, and if I'm at the gym, I like to keep my cell phone handy in case of an emergency (like where is the 2-year-old's ever precious Snuggle Bunny?).
Most of us don't have pockets on our spandex pants or tank top, so where then can you put that extra stuff? I just came across this Gadget Bottle ($8.25) which solves that problem.

This water bottle comes with a little space for your small stuff and a band around the bottle to keep it secure. It's a clever idea, but there's one little problem. Condensation. You've got to be sure that the item you're securing to the bottle is water resistant.
So tell me, do you think you'd use this Gadget Bottle or not?

this is a very good idea!
1It's a great idea but I agree...what about the condensation? They should make it sweat-proof!
2I think I could do the same thing with a rubberband.
3oo wait a second i showed someone at work.. and they pointed out.. what if you were a sloppy drinker!?! lol and got water all down the side and got it wet.. that would be no good
4Seriously agreeing here w/ the rubber band comments. Why spend $9 when you can grab some rubber bands from your desk?
5Nothing toooo special to me...
6sorry I see nothing special in it
7i used to do this all the time. I had a hair rubber band or two on my water bottle and i'd stick my keys and gym card in it. Hmph... who knew i could try and sell it... although i do find it very gimmicky
8I would never use it. I go running to get away from things, not to strap them to my water bottle and take them along with me.
9It amazes me that people spend money on things that they can easily and cheaply make themselves. I'm not crafty at all, but it requires no skill. A kid in kindergarten could make this.
However, the makers of these products know that people can but won't make things like this, so from a money-making perspective it's a good idea. Capitalizing on people's laziness/need to spend money on useless crap is one of the things that keeps industry moving.
The only thing this bottle has that the home made version doesn't is the flat side.
10I like the idea. Not to keep cellphones/cameras, but certainly the granola bar.
11nope wouldn't use it. I'd be afraid of my keys falling off my water bottle when in the bike holder. I just ether bag my keys and ID in a pouch and stuff in my top, in my bra or between the boobs. Amazing what your chest and a good top can hold.
12cuba dog is so right, just slap a rubber band around some deer park and go!
13I would totally use it if I was just working out at the gym on campus. It could hold my ID and my keys without me constantly having to track them down.
