I am a huge fan of olive oil, but too much of a good thing can be bad, and I often go overboard with how much olive oil I use while cooking. In light of this, one of my favorite healthy kitchen tools is the Misto Olive Oil Sprayer ($9.95).
All you do is fill the sprayer with olive oil. Pump the cap to pressurize. Then spray on anything your little heart desires. A couple of spritzes will do just fine. You'll end up using less oil, which ultimately means fewer calories, all while still benefiting from its good fats (monounsaturated fats).
The sprayer is non-aerosol, which means it's not harmful to the environment. Plus, you can refill the sprayer and reuse again and again.

I have one of these - I've had it for a few years. It works great the only thing is that when you re-fill it make sure to wash it our or the sprayer can become clogged.
1I've always wanted one of these. But am worried that it cannot be properly cleaned.
2Ooooh this would make me feel like Ferran Adrià!
3What a piece of junk. But of course it's another cool gadget to clutter up your kitchen cupboard with.
4I received one of these for a wedding present. It worked for about 2 months and then we threw it out.
5I think it's a good idea...but I probably wouldn't buy it.
6I have one and love it! We use it for grilling and baking and it's so much better than Pam. I've had no problems with it clogging, but I do wash it everytime I have to refill.
7I have one of these & at first I loved it. I have to admit, though, that I got tired of having to pump the cap & I just reverted back to my olive oil bottle. I just try to be careful with the amount I use from the bottle.
8I want this!
9I love this thing...I've had one for years and I use it all the time!
