For a relaxing steamer when you're starting to feel a bit under the weather, try this using:

6 drops of eucalyptus essential oil
6 cups of water
Bring the water and oil to a near boil. Using a towel, make a tent over the water and steam your head for 5 minutes. I would recommend turning the burner off and putting the pot on a trivet away from the stove starting to steam.
The eucalyptus steam will help ease symptoms of bronchitis, colds, coughing, fever, flu and sinusitis.
Fit's Tip: If the steam is too hot on your face, use a bigger towel and move further away. You can get the oil at most health stores as well as online. Buy it here for $11.95.

I love eucalyptus! My mum used to dab eucalyptus oil on my pillow every night because apparently it helps you to get a good night's sleep or something like that. I love the smell anyways.

Don't tick me off. Or you'll get it.
Has anyone tried those new tablets that you throw on the floor of your shower and they release aroma 'n what not to clear up your stuffiness? I forget who makes them but they're really nice, I'd like to use them when I'm not sick but they're too expensive for that lol.
2although steaming is good if you're a bit under the weather, I heard that using eucalyptus is not very good for your mucous membranes if you have a full on cold: it can be too aggressive for the already irritated membranes. use chamomile instead.
