It's not uncommon to dislike exercising, however, there are ways to get motivated, you just have to change your thinking.
Think of the one hour you use to exercise as "you" time. For most of us, every other hour of the day is devoted to work, husband, kids, friends, parents, pets, etc., and we hardly have time to really just concentrate on ourselves. I don't know about you, but I need "me" time in order to make it through my days with my sanity in tact. So, try to start looking at exercise as your own "you" time. It's perfect because not only are you taking a little time to stop concentrating on everyone else for once, but you're also using that time to really focus on doing something for the betterment of yourself.

I totally agree with this! The hour of YOU time is absolutely essential and beneficial!
1I love exercising. There are definitely days where I do NOT want to exercise, but I tell myself that it's getting me one step further in my journey to good health (and it's keeping me at my desired size).
2this is so true. Exercising not only makes me feel great physically, but also makes me feel good about myself - it gives me satisfaction that I'm taking good care of my body and makes me proud, positive and keeps my mind clear and sane.
3I walk everyday and have for years--it my time-
4That's a great why to think of exercise! I love it! I think about that when I exercise tomorrow morning!

For me its about letting it be part of your life completely. like if I dont exercise for the whole week I feel really different, hate the feeling of not having accomplished anything throughout the week. I think people just need to try to make it fun somehow, like for me I absolutely HATE the treadmill or any sort of machine but I love to play basketball or something with friends.
6So true. I like going to the gym alone and having some time to just me, where no one is bugging me. I love everyone in my life and all, but it's nice to have half an hour on the treadmill and 20 minutes tanning to just think and work things out in my brain!
7I have been totally slacking on exercise and would like to try to get back in to it. The other day, it was a beautful fall evening and I really didn't feel like sweating it out in the gym. Instead I walked a total of about 3 miles outdoors. I discovered a new neighborhood near me, found a cute park and swung on the swings for a minute and overall had a great time just being with myself. So refreshing!
8I love going for a nice long walk or doing a relaxing yoga workout by myself. For all the moms and wives that have families don't feel selfish taking some "me" time. I think its benefits my whole family as it keeps me healthy, energized, and most importantly SANE which is good for everyone.
9my running/exercise/workout time is always my "me" time
10Such a good tip! I recently became a fitness instructor, and I realize how much I miss that time where I could just go to class and get into the zone, without having to worry about everything else going on. Now that it's my job to work out, and help other people work out, I'm going to have to find that me time somewhere else! However, this is a good reason to remind my students to enjoy this time that they are taking to do something good for themselves!
