A recent Gallup poll found that the majority of American adults feel their best, on a typical day, between the hours of 5:00 am and 11:59 am, making them "morning people."
Mornings definitely have their merits, and some people find that it is the best time to schedule and stick to a workout. Others, would never classify themselves as morning people.
How about you...

Well .. i work nights which really sucks because i LOVE mornings. If theres a couple days where i dont work i enjoy going to bed at like 11 and waking up at 7. But I dont really mind the night either.
1I am definitely a morning person, and I've been known to drive people nuts banging around for coffee, etc., because I'm always the first one up!
2I'm a sorta-morning person. I don't talk to anyone while I'm getting ready for work or eating breakfast - but once I'm awake, I'm awake.
3in the college world, at least, i am definitely a morning person. out of all my roommates i'm usually up first, and the only one who has the motivation to go exercise. a lot of people i know seem to have a terrible time waking up, they need like four alarms or keep hitting the snooze button. while i enjoy sleeping in sometimes, once the alarm goes off, i'm up and ready to go, no problem.
also i love breakfast!
4the only hard thing about the mornings is trying to get up...after that I am reeeeady to go! lol. I definitely experience an afternoon slump, and start falling asleep by 8.
5No Im not a morning person at all. Im not mean in the morning but Im not all smiles either. By noon Im ok though.
6i used to be a morning person before, like wake up at 4 am and i never felt sleepy but this last year that i gained weight i cannot wake up early anymore, so i wake up at 7:30 or 8 ,
7my major is agriculture so being morning person helped me alot, that before even sun goes up i finished most of my work on my farm. i used to work on my farm early in the morning when it was rainy i love mornings
8I'm really good at getting up, no hitting the snooze, no dragging my ass...once that buzzer or alram goes off, I'm up and ready to get prepared for my day!
9But, I also like the night too, I like the darkness and the stars and moon.
So mayeb I am a monring and night person?!?!?!
Definitely a morning person. Up at five with the blender going for a pre-workout fruit smoothie! Plus sunrises and beautiful scenery (my apartment has a garden out, that's about all the scenery I get).
10I'm not a morning person, but my job forces me to be, which sucks.
11Never used to be a morning person when I was younger. Now that I am older have a family, 2 dogs and a career I kind of have no choice but to be. The alarm is set for 5am these days. I find that waking up earlier and giving yourself plenty of time in the morning is the key to making it enjoyable.
12I'm a morning person when it gets light early. Winter is hard for me. I also need enough sleep. I wish it were cut and dry.
13I'm def not a night owl though. I could go to bed at 9 and be happy as a clam.
i go to bed at about 8:30 to 9pm at least 5 times a week, so I wake up at 5:30am bouncing off the walls dancing!!! =)
14Oh, hell, no, I HATE mornings. I much prefer the nighttimes. =) I feel more energized starting in the late afternoons and stretching into early evenings. =)
15I cannot wake up in the morning. I press snooze at least 3 times!
16I press the snooze (I think it has to do with my erratic work-out schedule), but I love mornings. I do most of my errands in the a.m. and take classes early too.
17Syako, I am like you. I do not talk in the morning though. I need my time to do whatever it is and be done with it. My boyfriend hates it!
18If mornings were to start around 10:00 a.m. I *could* be a morning person. I never, ever, ever want to get up. But once I'm up, I'm up. But I prefer evenings/nights, and we usually live by a different clock, going to bed on average 2:00 - 3:00 a.m. - and very often dinner is 10:00 - 11:00 p.m.
19I'm not a morning person at all. I don't want to talk to anyone, even hear someone else. I need peace and quiet at that time.
20i need peace and quiet at my mornings as well.. but i do enjoy mornings
21I don't want anybody to bother me fo about an hour and a half after I wake up - regardless of what time it is.
22I'm totally a morning person. I wake up easily and I love the sunshine in the morning and the smell of mornings.
23I am surprised so many are morning people! I cannot imagine that. My daughter isn't a morning person either, so trying to get her out the door in the morning... we're like oil and water!
24I am a morning person. I always seem so much more productive during that time of day and that's without breakfast too!
25I'm totally a night owl. I prefer to exercise around 10:00pm and I do my best work at 2am. Too bad I now have a job that requires me to start @ 7:30am- it has messed with my rhythm and now I'm tired all the time.
26I'm not really a morning person, but I never hit snooze and I hate sleeping in past 10 because I feel like it's a waste of time. I'm not a night owl either so I guess that makes me an afternoon/early evening person.
27I hate mornings with a passion. I hit th snooze about ten times before I actually wake up... seriously.
28I do better at 7 am if I haven't gone to bed yet than I do if I have to get up at that time after 8 hours of sleep! lol
29I am tired of being thought of as lazy because I cannot get up in the morning. I live the same life as everyone else: I work, I have household chores, I exercise, I read, I do freelance work, I watch TV, etc. But I prefer to live that life from 10 a.m. to 2 a.m., rather than 6 a.m. to 10 p.m. Ever since I was a little kid I've preferred to stay up late, happily working or playing until 1 or 2 in the morning. A morning person I have never been, nor will I ever be. (And don't tell me I'll change when I have kids...I'm not having any!)
30I get up at 2am every day I dont start work until 5am I am only ten miles from work I need at least 2 hours alone to wake up to even function the rest of the day , I really hate it if my husband stays up that night , then all he wants to do is talk it ruins my whole day I need the peace and quiet in the morning to wake up that is why I get up early , he dosent get it
