I have a love-hate relationship with Halloween. I love going pumpkin picking, making jack-o-lanterns, roasting pumpkin seeds, and creating costumes. Oh, who am I kidding? I also love the candy, the bags of tiny bite-sized servings are my weakness. To keep my candy intake in check, I buy my candy a few days before Halloween and buy the candy I don't like.

How bad are these tasty little morsels, really? A few bites can't hurt, right? To see how many calories haunt your favorite Halloween candy, read more
The calorie content in this chart is based on one piece of Halloween ‘snack’ or ‘fun’ size candy, not full size servings found in the candy aisle. The good news is that on most bags of candy, the serving size includes 2-3 pieces/bags/packets of each. I guess those candy companies know how "fun" those fun packs really are.

Just think - Snickers is the most popular candy sold at Halloween. Yikes! I am not buying ANY candy this year.
I'm also a sucker for the Take5.
Yum, sweeties.
Everything in moderation!
Mike 'n Ikes and Jelly Belly ftw!!
The most popular candy holiday of the year, of course, is Halloween. It's pretty irresistible this time of year, but this list makes it good to keep things in check.
LOL kiddylnd, I too am a HUGE sucker for Take 5 as well as Jelly Belly's. I won't be buying candy either.
I will be celebrating minus the candy this yr-I'm keeping it healthy
Snickers and Hershey's Bar are the only candy I can't resist.
ehh one or two pieces arent bad!!! its one day out of the year! moderation
See. I factor in calories, but I also consider how long these last me. Skittles is the winner for me because although they aren't the least in calories, they last me far longer than say...a crunch bar.
I have a weakness for Three Musketeers! I can't help it! My son is only 18 months old though so I don't think we'll be taking him around anywhere anyway...Halloween is getting too dangerous and he's not old enough yet to understand.
I could never stop at just one... but it's nice to know how the 25 pieces I eat will add up!
i don't even get trick or treaters but i always buy a little candy for my boyfriend and me. looks like sweetarts, milk duds or jelly bellies for us. But those are all candies I would have bought anyway.
Take 5 is absolutely AMAZING.
Good, my fav isn't on there so I will never truely know how bad it is for me
Though I never get candy during Halloween, I think Halloween should be a day where calories shouldnt count. Im not suggesting going over board, control yourself, but just enjoy the day and candy!
And the next day hit the treadmill extra hard! lol
i cannot resist reeses peanut butter cups, which is why i absolutely NEVER buy them
My dad owns TWO 7-11's so it's HARD to avoid candy ALL year!!! LOL.
Ugh...so depressing.
Omg. I already attacked the candy bowl at home. Darn parents and their sweet tooths! Mmmm. candy.
peanut m&ms have MORE cals then a snickers??? are you kidding?!
electropop...that's awesome that your dad owns a 7-11! i mean... b/c i'm a sugar free red bull fanatic. haha.
jelly bellys aren't bad... for a small pack. i mean, it's not like you're supposed to get full of candy... you're just supposed to cure your sweet tooth and jelly bellys are only... 35 cals. i can't believe skittles is more then a kit kat.
gosh dont you miss counting and dividing your candy after trick-or-treating and then eating 20 pieces when ur mom wasnt looking!?!?! UGH!
I remember loving all the candy on Halloween when I was younger. Now I just like getting dressed up crazy and having fun with my friends. I used to love Reese's Peanut Butter Cups like no other, but at work I'm around a lot of candy and they smell super artificial to me. I guess that's not a bad thing, right?
Now I know why my dad always only let us have a maximum of 5 pieces of our Halloween candy a day. It got rationed out in our lunchboxes over the course of a month or more. I'm sure my dad ate all the Mounds bars (his favorite) and my mom ate most of the other chocolate because I only remember having Skittles, Smartees, lollipops, and Tootsie Rolls. My friends all thought I was weird because I didn't eat all my candy the night of Halloween. YIKES.
