It seems like every day a new diet makes the news. Some of these fads can sound promising because they're veiled in medical and health jargon or carry the backing of a celebrity or doctor. But reading between the lines reveals that regardless of the details, these diets are generally not healthy because they lack balance and are very restrictive.
Many of them are just plain kooky too — it's as if they're trying to outweird one another. How well do you know your trendy diets? Take my quiz and find out.

Boo, missed the green food one. Oh well. 4/5 for me.
1My Aunt swears by the Caveman diet.
2I had a roommate in college who researched having a tapeworm and tried this - she ordered her tapeworm online from some website that catered to people with eating disorders. People will do anything!
3Tapeworm?! That is just sick.
4Ditto Ella. 4/5 as well.
The Cavemen diet sounds interesting enough, but our ancestors were also more physically active than today. They hunted, they gardened and it was because it was a matter of life or death for them. You're far more active when running after a herd of buffalo as opposed to driving to McD's for a fakeburger.
5I bet cavemen got lots of parasites. But seriously, I like some of the points of the caveman/paleo diets, but I try to keep the fat in check.
6I once served a lady at work who could only eat green and white things because of this new diet she was on. So we made up a steamed salad for her, and gave her a few huge bottles of water, but I felt like hiding a steak in her food because it was so unbalanced!
75/5
I think it was ER or something that I first heard about that tapeworrm 'diet'. I wonder if you can feel it in your stomach? Gross!
8I live a lifestyle very similar to the cave man diet although mine is a bit more restrictive! I believe in it 100000 % and feel fabulous!
