It is rare when a women specific exercise issue makes the news, but my reaction to the story that even gentle exercise causes breast pain in the majority of womens was - duh! I could have told you that. It is cool though that someone is researching this and the outcome will hopefully be better bras, since running outside is tough enough on its own. You have to concentrate to dodge pedestrians, avoid cracks in the sidewalks and be on the look out for cars, so you shouldn't have to worry about that uncomfortable bounce factor. I want a sports bra that will help my girls stay put, not only to reduce the pain, but most importantly to stop the immature comments I hear spewing out of car windows.
Check out this Fiona Bra ($44) made by Moving Comfort. This is for all the ladies who are a C-D-DD in cup size, and like to do high-impact exercise.
This bra offers intense support, but still gives you a feminine shape. The straps and back clasp with 3 rows of hook and eyes make this bra completely adjustable, so you can get a perfect fit for your body. There are interior molded cups to encapsulate each breast and the material across your chest is one-way power mesh to limit vertical movement (aka - the bounce).
This bra is the definition of support and I love that it covers your cleavage. It comes in white, black, moonstone, petal, and green tea. Order it from Moving Comfort in a range of sizes from 32C - 44DD.

I have this bra and love it!!
1Nice! I need something like this for my boobs!
2I need this so much! I have never found a sports bra that is supportive enough.
3This probably great for a C-cup, but I've tried other D+ bras from Moving Comfort, and I considered this one, but that was before I found Enell bras. I'm a 32DD to 32F, and I am a loyal Enell fan. They are the only bras that have ever made the bouncing stop completely.
4When talking about exercise, I commented to my bf's mother that I refuse to run without a sports bra because of the discomfort of bouncing. She was so confused. Then I was confused. Much confusion.
5I need this bra!!!! I run and I am always worried about the bounce in my boobs
6I have this bra and I'm a large C. It's great. No bouncing.
7I have this bra too and I am a 36DD and its great!
8Title 9 is another great company that provides bras for larger-breasted ladies. They're not always the prettiest, but they work pretty well for me.
9Being an A cup, I can usually use any ol' sports bra and it stops the jiggle, but I also love Title 9's bras. They make ones that are guaranteed to stop any bounce. It's great that some companies are out there making decent bras for well-endowed ladies.
10Thanks for this post! I have large heavy boobs and I haven't found a good sports bra, until now!
11Alissa said what I was going to put up here...a comment about Title Nine and their sports bras for women of all bust sizes, but for the well-endowed in particular!
I've always wanted to try their sports bras.
12wow, i should look into this. I currently have to wear two sports bra's when working out.
13looks good! i need the extra support!
14this looks pretty good! i don't like to exercise in public because of the embarrassment. maybe this'll help, though
1536DD and I love this bra! I use this and the Enell... the Enell is my frogger bra (straps me down more than any bra ever) that I use running most, but I love this one for its comfort and support in all gym activities.
1636DDD so you can imagine how much fun jogging is for me. Just recently I came across this website .. www.titlenine.com they have a bra called the last resort bra and it promises no moving for D, DD and DDDs so i'm going to give it a try
17I love this bra! I'm a 34DD and find it very supportive but not constricting. I wear it for running and aerobics (both step and hi-lo).
18i just recently got the enell sports bra -- built for the bigger-boobed from C to trip-D -- and it's really great. i find myself wanting to exercise more now 'cause it keeps my girls clamped down more than any other sports bra ever has. no underwire, easy to wash, but it's like a cage and catches movement in every direction. they're something like $60 a pop, but a great investment.
19I have this bra, too. I'm 36DD. And almost E when I'm all water-retaining during "that week".
I STILL have to wear another bra underneath, BUT I'm able to reduce the bounce enough to run comfortably. I went through sooooooooo many different sports bras to finally get to this one. It's the ONLY one that really works.
Those velcro adjustable shoulder straps are WONDERFUL. They are key to clamping everything down nice & snug.
Highly recommend.
Oh, and you can get it at Academy Sports & Outdoors for $40.
Would love to continue hearing how other ladies like it, or if you know of any other EFFECTIVE sportsbra for large-busted women.
