Are you looking for a place to talk to other women who climb or who are involved in mountaineering sports? Are you thinking about giving climbing a try and want to learn more about the sport? Even if you just like hanging out at an indoor climbing gym, FitSugar has created a group just for you — Women That Rock (Climb).
Swap stories, share advice on training and technique, talk about your favorite climbing spots, and give gear advice. It's your place to share all of your thoughts and stories about climbing with other women who get it. Join Women That Rock (Climb) and be a part of the ongoing conversation.
I can't wait to see what you ladies post — some of your most inspiring stories and sound advice may just find its way onto the FitSugar homepage!

Hey! Awesome, Fit! Can boys join? I might ask Spacekatdude, who chimes in on TresSugar occasionally to join with me. We've been going a lot lately.
1Nice.
2I'm glad you guys are posting about rock climbing and I might have to join the group!
Makes me seriously sad, though - at one time I was bouldering 2 to 4 times a week but due to finances I stopped being able to afford a gym membership...
It's now been about a year and a half since I last climbed and I'm going nuts missing it. Fortunately
it looks like I'll be back on the walls in Spring!
3For anyone who loves rock climbing, check out the Greek island of Kalymnos.
4Yay! I just started climbing in September so this will be great!
5I always wanted to try but was scared I didn't have the necessary upper body strength. There's a "climbnasium" about 15 minutes from me (a retrofitted barn, hah!) I should give it a try.
