The old food pyramid you remember from grade school got an upgrade in 2005, but the basic sentiment remains the same. The government guidelines advise eaters to choose a variety of foods from the different food groups in order to eat a balanced diet. How much do you know about the food pyramid? Take my quiz and see how you measure up.

Wow, I knew nothing about the food pyramid.
1Ouch, I did awful. Guess I haven't actually looked at it in years. I thought it was still grains, frutis & veggies, protein and dairy, with the little triangle of fats on top... ha.. guess I've missed a bit.
2everything i know about the food pyramid i learned from marilyn manson's song on Clone High... so basically nothing lol.
but if you haven't seen it, you really should

3I really knew nothing, but I don't agree with some of it. Only 2.5 servings a day of veggies, while no more than 6 teaspoons of oil? Please. I eat triple the amount of veggies and consume crazy amounts of olive oil and I am extremely healthy! In fact, I credit my high-olive oil diet to my thin, healthy frame!
4The Food Pyramid doesn't really do it for me, either. Too many starches.
5Asche, they didn't say 2.5 servings of vegetables, they said 2.5 cups.
I did terribly on this :/
6Ahh 2.5 cups. Although, it still doesn't seem like enough to me!
7milk and meat are categories on the food pyramid?!? gross. this was OBVIOUSLY done by the USDA.
85/7.
I very much dislike the "new" food pyramid. It's SO hard to remember the categories because it's just like stripes instead of categories. And what's up with adding exercise? You don't eat exercise!
9its become upside down
10Ok I got zero. First time for me!
