Tennis fashions have certainly evolved and come a long way from the pastels and "skirts only rules" for the ladies. You all loved Sharapova's red tennis dress, but tell me how you feel about the SHORT shorts Venus Williams wore during her last match at the US Open. No doubt she looks amazing, and by making it all the way to the semi-finals being seeded 12th in the tournament, we know Venus is one fierce competitor.
Today in the semi-finals, Venus takes on top ranked Justine Henin, who defeated sister Serena just two days ago!!! Should be a great game and she will probably be wearing some fashion forward tennis wear too.

2i wear short spandex shorts every single day to track practice and lifting... so comfy and easy to move in!
3looks a little manly when paired with the polo top. Also not a great color. But she does have a firm body... but again... on her with all her mega-muscle it comes off a bit too masculine
4The rest of the outfit is pretty modest so why not? She's got great legs and her a$$ isn't hanging out.
5i'm more of a traditional tennis skirt fan for some reason - they can be pretty short too though!

12If you can rock it, wear it is my motto. I wear these for v-ball and lifting all of the time. They are much easier to move around in and keep the sweat at bay!

16omg i am so not a fan of these shorts. i am a tennis player and i was watching the open and looking at her outfit thinking that must be the most uncomfortable outfit ever. for starters it is so hot out and the shirt she is wearing is bunched at the sleeves and then has a collar. ask any tennis player if they like playing in a collared shirt and i guarentee they will say no. secondly the shorts she is wearing are ridiculous. they might look like biker shorts but they are not. they just fit her tightly. plus they continually ride up in the front and she is always having to pull them down. i know she is trying to look hip and trendy on the tennis courts but maybe she should follow the designs of nike and adidas who are making fashionable and comfortable clothes. just look at maria sharapova and ana ivanovic.
17I'm so tired of this girl. I know she's impressively athletic and has a really toned body but she always manages to come across as tacky. She bugs me.

23She looks great in that outfit. It suits are body frame really well.
However, I'm not a fan of her. Her sister, Serena, and she are amazing athletes. No doubt about it. But they are so full of themselves. Not so much Venus now but Serena still is. I read an article that she said Henin had 'lucky shots' in her match against her. Please. Henin has a better record against you. Face it, Serena. Those shots weren't lucky!
Well not only did she beat Serena but she beat her sister as well. The only other person who beat both Williams sisters in the same tournament was Martina Hingis.

30Looks ok but it doesn't look comfortable to wear to play tennis in. It seems she should be pulling the camels toe alot while playing. But hey they look great!
