We've been watching Jessica transform into one hard body these days. Maybe it's from tugging around all that LV luggage, but I am pretty sure it has more to do with her new movie, workout regime, diet and trainer. The girl's definitely got curves; curves that I'd be willing to bet you could bounce a quarter off of. But seriously, I can't get over those arms!

So if, like me, you're totally inspired by Jessica's guns to get out and start pumping some iron, here are a few suggestions for toning up your own arms:
- Push-ups. If you're new to push-ups, then stick with a basic push-up. If you're familiar with push-ups, try elevating your feet on an exercise ball.
- Also, you can add the side push-up to your routine if you really want to spice it up.
- Right now I am loving this Plank with Reverse Row.
- Love planks? Then try the elbow and side planks.
- Another great and fun workout for the arms is this boxing move.
- One of my all time favorite arm exercises is the alternating hammer curl.
- For a few arm moves in a row, be sure to check out the starter arms video.
So get to it ladies! With a little commitment, and healthy diet, you'll be well on your way to having arms like Jessica's. So, to see more pics of Jessica looking tone and trim, just read more

I guess lugging around those giant handbags would tone you up right quick!
1I'm sorry but I am not loving her arms. She is starting to look like one of those obnoxious female body builders.
2I think she looks terrible, like a body builder - I've never liked how female body builder's look. She's bulking up way too much.
3No,no,and no Jess! That's too much.
4Maybe it's the cut of the dress, but she really looks too much like a tranny.
5She did get there fast - got to give her that.
Oh my life. It sort of looks like she is having those vitamin injections or maybe drinking protein shakes? I don't think women should have MUSCLES like that, it's too tranny-ish.
6she doesn't look good here, and now that i've observed this pic some more, its not so much her arms that are scary, but her shoulders and neck....i'm pretty sure she's doing those exercise that footballers do...like to work out the deltoid and the trapezius.... it looks nasty if you ask me, on both men and women but especially Jessica!
7I think it's definitely her shoulders (deltoids?) that are making her look "bulky" ... maybe it is just the camera angle though! Jessica Biel has really strong shoulders as well.
8These pics are making me worried about lifting weights, instead of motivating me...
9I am fairly convinced she is guzzling the protein shakes now.
10Lifting weights shouldn't do this to a woman!
I think she looks great! She does not look like a female bodybuilder, she'd be MUCH larger than that! It isn't so much as her "bulking" up either. She's eating clean, lifting and doing cardio. Anyone doing that very religiously will have their muscles show and be defined. It's very difficult and almost impossible for women to gain as much muscle mass as men without purposely doing so and I seriously doubt she's doing that. Some are just so used to seeing these skinny celebs that ones with actual tone like Jessica Biel and Simpson look strange to them.
11Actually her arms are not so bad, it's her upper traps that make her look like scary.
12Whoa, crazy.
13I hate hate hate when Fit posts a BEAUTIFUL picture of a strong woman with muscles and everyone on here comments "she looks like a body builder"
Are you KIDDING me? Have you seen a body builder ever? She looks so far from that. She looks amazing and so does Madonna, SJP, Jessica Biel, etc. etc.
Why are you all so afraid to have muscles? They are beautiful, they show that women are strong and confident and capable. You have looked at pictures of Paris, Nicole, Keira and Kate Bosworth for far too long. That is NOT BEAUTIFUL! That is what we call bones and a skeleton.
Stop being so scared of being muscular. Get in the gym and start pumping some iron - do you realize that the more muscle you have the more calories you burn while just sitting around. So if you like burning calories - lift weights!
And open your minds! Geesh.
14One more thing:
15Syako, I couldn't agree with you more! Good post!
16I agree with syako. She looks great. The two big pictures show her flexing her arms because she's carrying heavy bags. If you look at the smaller pictures, she looks normal. What's wrong with definition? Isn't that one of the benefits of being fit?
17My issue isn't with her arms, it's with girls over a C-cup thinking they can get away without wearing a BRA. As a 32DDD, I've come to terms with the fact that I have to wear one no matter what, "shelf bra" or not.
18I think her arms are a bit too much and it's too manly on her figure- although granted, they are flexed in the photo. Personally I wouldn't want my arms to be "pumped." I see what Syako is saying but I think toned is beautiful on a woman, to me, "muscular" is not.
19i still think her shoulders look unnatural. i agree with y'all above that we shouldn't view overly skinny actresses as the norm, but should we view buffed up women with trainers and nutritionists who spend several hours a day at the gym normal either? there needs to be a happy medium and jessica (in these pictures) ain't it.
20She looks kindof manly in the arms and neck region...
21she is just looking way to 'manly' for me. i wanna get buff withought geting toooo buffed.
22She looks fantastic! The shot where she's holding the bags is a weird angle. All the rest she looks great. I am so happy to see women that look HEALTHY! Hooray! She got here fairly quickly it seems, that takes a lot of hard work and some serious commitment. I am really happy for her!
23Muscles are fine but what I'm seeing here on Jess are real manly looking neck and shoulders. It's just not a look I would personally want. If ehs's happy with it, then cool.
24sorry, but Jessica looks like a transvestite most of the time.
25Hello, she is carring heavy bags!
26she's definetley flexing in these pictures but i can't hate. she worked hard for it, she's just trying her best to show it off.
27i know everyone is commenting about how masculine she looks, but i have the same problem. whenever i go back to swimming, my body just naturally bulks up and my arms and shoulders get huge.
28who wants to have that body? she looks awful. big muscles with fat on top. MANLY!
29syako,
kate bosworth gained weight and looks much healthier now. that should be commended.
30For a really evil pushup, take the stability ball out from under your feet and put it under your hands instead.
31I wasn't talking about kate specifically - it was more of a general statement. We see pictures of these girls with no muscles and when we finally see a WOMAN you all freak out. It's not manly.
32Heaven forbid girls have a little meat on their bones.
33she looks good! what's wrong with women having muscle? i think it's beautiful! go look at pictures of gayle olinekova and then come back here and say you think muscles on women look ugly. and as women, we should be encouraging each other. women who are into weight lifting get enough bad comments from men; the last thing we need is other women telling us we shouldn't "too thin or too muscular."
34Good for her. GOOD FOR HER!
35EW! She looks way to manly!
36And I have to agree with whoever said that this is motivation to not lift weights. I'm scared.
37I think her muscles look great! I'm very muscular and I HATE it when people say I look "like a bodybuilder" or "too buff" or "manly". I think I look fine and so does Jessica. I actually put upper body muscle on very easily and right now, my arms are actually a lot more ripped than hers are. Mine kinda resemble Madonna's, which isn't necessarily a bad thing. As women, we need to be more accepting of different body types and realize that muscles can definitely be sexy and hey, they speed up your metabolism so you can actually eat.
38She has pumped her trapezius (upper back, shoulders, and lower neck muscle group) well into Lou Ferrigno aka "Incredible Hulk" territory...YIKES!!!
39I like what I see! She is strong, amen!
40After reading this interaction, I'd just like to put it out there that "opening your mind" is just as much about accepting comments you DON'T agree with as it is about accepting comments you do agree with.
We all have different opinions and the greatest thing about having an "open mind" is that we can all appreciate and respect WHATEVER is being said.
41love the arms. i think the traps got an unfortunate angle in a couple of the pics, and that's why everyone is saying she looks bodybuilder-ish. gotta give the girl props for workin it out. she looks healthy, happy, and radiant.
42Well, I'd hate to bring her down after all her hard work, so I won't say what I was going to.
43she looks good. but.. wrong dress (i think)
44its um... a little too much
45i like muscles and the benefit of having them - i like going to the gym to try to be toned especially my arms. and although i don't think she looks like a bodybuilder, i don't like the way her traps look in these pictures. and that is just my opinion..
46not working for her. too buff.
47I agree with syako. I am so tired of women exercising not to feel good, look fit, healthy and muscular but to burn calories, lose weight and look like a skeleton...
