Calling BS on the rock climbing one. Okay, I'll accept that you burn more per hour, but unless you're super slow, no climber goes for an hour straight at a time. You climb hard for five, ten minutes and then you rap down, belay your partner, etc. Even on a super-long multipitch you're belaying half the time.
