Whatever your opinion of Nadya Suleman's decision to carry eight babies at once, most can agree that her quick slim-down is rather astonishing. When her octuplets were born nine months ago, Nadya weighed 270 pounds. In the latest issue of Us Weekly, she admitted she packed on the pounds by "eating everything in sight." Now this five-foot-seven single mom of 14 has lost 145 pounds and 39 inches off her waist and weighs 125 pounds.

How did she do it? To find out, read more.
With her previous pregnancies, the Octomom admitted she had no problems getting back to her pre-pregnancy size 1 or 2, thanks to her skinny genes. This last time around, simply delivering the eight babies in January helped Nadya lose 40 pounds instantly. Losing the rest of the weight, however, wasn't a walk in the park. This mama joined the local gym and sweats it out three times a week at midnight! Yep, after her children go to sleep, a nanny stays with them while she exercises late-night for 90 minutes. Since Nadya gets her cardio from chasing after the kids, her gym workouts are devoted to strength training. She does top-secret crunches (which she hopes to reveal in her own fitness video), tricep kickbacks, bicep curls, shoulder presses, and lunges. Her dumbbell of choice? A set of 12-pound weights. I don't know how she does it, but Nadya claims she gets by on only three hours of sleep a night. She can't possibly keep that up for too long.
A healthy diet also helped Suleman lose her baby weight. Her day is filled with five protein-based meals or snacks, including turkey, sushi, eggs, and lowfat cheese. She also includes whole grains such as oatmeal, and veggies by eating salads and stews. Her favorite snacks include Pinkberry frozen yogurt and cottage cheese with fruit.
Although Nadya needed help to get pregnant and deliver her babies, she boasts that she's slimmed down with diet and exercise alone, and didn't need any surgical help.

Why are you giving this woman any attention?
1However she accomplished this she deserves "KUDOS"! Good work Nadya but please try to get more sleep.
2Please stop posting stories about her.
3I'm with comments 1 & 3. This woman doesn't deserve anyone's attention.
4She's a loser, and not in the "biggest loser" sense. No more stories about this mentally deficient young lady. By the way, she also said she didn't have any help making her face look like Angelina Jolie's, which is obviously false, so perhaps a little more parsing of the info here is merited?
5I know we don't all agree with the decisions she's made, but that's pretty amazing, to lose all that baby weight in under a year.
6ugh i hate her...she's totally the weight i wanna be we have the same height, i've been trying to get to 125 for the last six months!
7Really disappointed that an article on this woman was posted at all. Seriously??
8And I should be looking to this woman as a healthy role model because ...?
9Oh, give Fit a break. She's not promoting this woman as being a healthy role model - she specifically said that she couldn't keep up sleeping only 3 hours a night for long. I'm no Octomom fan, but I do think this story is interesting.
10why is this on here? This woman is an attention wh*re, hence the 14 kids, you're only feeding the monster. This site, FitSugar, I would think would be for women that make healthy choices in their lives.
Ugh.
11Wow you ladies need to calm down! She shared a story about the Octomom's diet and people attack her for not promoting a healthy role model? Give me a break! Nobody is looking up to her in any type of way. Just because I'm interested in how she lost her weight so quickly doesn't mean I am planning on getting impregnated with 8 fetuses soon. Chill out!
12So...low carb diet and exercise. Not very revolutionary. I agree with the other posters - we don't need an article about her; her weight-loss strategy isn't anything we don't already know, frankly, and she's an unstable person. Her real way to weight loss is probably tinged with the same degree of mental illness as the rest of her life choices. Just sayin'. Also was surprised that her snacks include sushi. That's kind of expensive for someone with a million kids who allegedly was close to declaring bankruptcy.
13yeah take a wild guess who or what is paying for her gym membership!
14I like the mention of her 'secret abs'...someone wants a workout video! Seriously though, she's naturally thin and bounced back from the previous 6 pregnancies so I'm sure she knew it wouldn't be a problem to drop the weight again.
15she is a looser and I don't care how she is doing it or what she is planning on doing. Question, is WELFARE paying for the gym???????
16I do not believe anything this woman says, and just because she lost weight does not mean she is qualified to do a fitness video (along with a lot of other bozos out there).
17WOW. Kudos to her for losing the weight. The story is about her weight loss and I think it is interesting and amazing what she has done. Thanks FitSugar for sharing!
18I think this woman is insane, but whatever. There's no way I'd be able to get by on 3 hours of sleep a night. That is just simply not healthy. But yeah, I agree with the other posters that said that we as taxpayers are buying her gym membership and sushi and Pinkberry. She obviously has zero shame and doesn't mind her life being on display for the entire world to see.
19this woman is so sick and i do not know why people news and tv channels are giving her so much attention, they need to take those children away from her before it to late.she needs help.
20She is not currently on any government assistance so I don't know how we could be buying her gym membership and sushi as another poster suggests. She may get a family discount for a gym membership. She does have 6 older children, 3 of whom are old enough to use a gym
21WOW! OKAY SHE HAD 8 PLUS KIDS SHEDIDNT COMMIT A CRIME PEOPLE!!!! WHEN U IF U MAKE IT TO HEAVEN MAYBE THEN YOU'LL BE WORTHY ENOUGH TO PASS JUDGEMENT!!
22@#22 : So should calm down, writing with caps lock key on is not going to make your post more powerful...
She didn't commit a crime, she has the right to have a 14 kids. But eight in a single pregnancy can't be good for the mom and especially for the kids. It's already hard to bear the aftermath of the birth of twins, triplet, so I just can't imagine with eight babies plus the other six....
3 hours of sleep is just insane ! For a day yes, but it's unhealthy to go down this road for months. Then exercise and diet is not exceptional. Good for her she has shed her pregnancy weight, but then again, I don't think it's good to put her on the news again and again.
23Are you seriously telling me that she didn't have to have a tummy tuck after it was so huge? I don't believe that no surgery was involved.
24I wouldn't be surprises if it was the midnight crack diet
25"... diet and exercise alone..."
Ahahahahaha. Right. Next, you'll suggest that we believe in the tooth fairy!
26Humph! One more reason for me to hate the Octo-Mom! I'll bet she did get the surgery or she's on meth
