I try my absolute best to eat five to nine servings of fruit and veggies a day but sometimes I fall short. I also find that sometimes it's hard for me to digest all that roughage. I talked to my nutritionist about this problem and she recommended Greens First — a megablend powder that contains super foods, organic fruits and vegetables, probiotics, fiber, enzymes, and more.
It's lightly sweetened with stevia and has a slight minty flavor, it definitely tastes better than any of the other "green" drinks I've tried. I mix the powder with a glass of cold water in the morning and I'd say that within 30 minutes I feel a boost in my energy level. The website says that one serving of Greens First fulfills your fruit and veggie quota for the day but I still eat as much fresh stuff as I can.

Did you buy it from the nutritionist or did you have to order it? I'm interested, but would rather pick it up some where than order it.
1This sounds really nutritious. Do you know of any greens blends that are truly gluten free - without any barley or barley greens? Some of the greens blends claim to be gluten free but contain barley grass/greens.
2The only gluten free kind that I have found in Vega! I just ordered a box of this stuff but if can also be bought at whole foods.
3I've heard of this, but I've never thought to try it. I tend to get enough veggies and fruits as it is, but thanks for the info; this is probably nice for people that don't get enough fruits and veggies.
4Love Love Love! Greens First. They are also great to slip a little liquid fish oil into. (Much easier than capsules - no "repeating"!) I also put a powdered immune booster in if I'm going to be around little kids.
5I always wonder in what way do products like this fulfill daily fruit & vegetable requirements. This certainly falls short in fiber. Does this provide all the same vitamins?
6It's Gluten-Free?? That's so awesome- I am definitely going to have to pick some up!
7Does it taste better than "Green Superfood" - I hate the grittiness of that.
8Sounds like it would make you um...use the restroom a little bit more
9I used to eat this stuff religiously! I simply just ATE IT too! I loved eating it at night but then I realized it sort of was keeping me up which I think it's suppose to do... give you energy... so taking it in the morning is probably the smart thing to do! I got into an unhealthy habit with this stuff though too... eating only that for dinner... yea, that wasn't smart but it is a delicious powder!!
10Bottled Water DispensersContaining three natural sugars - sucrose, fructose and glucose combined with fiber,
11a banana gives an instant, sustained and substantial boost of energy.
Research has proven that just two bananas provide enough energy for a strenuous 90-minute workout.
No wonder the banana is the number one fruit with the world's leading athletes.
But energy isn't the only way a banana can help us keep fit.
It can also help overcome or prevent a substantial number of illnesses and conditions,
making it a must to add to our daily diet.
