YAS (Yoga and Spinning) just sent me this Skull Tank Top to use for Yoga and Pilates. It's got a V-back, with adjustable straps, and the scoop neck covers you up. Personally, I hate it when my boobs pop out while trying to do Down Dog.
I have to say that the wicking fabric is super soft, and there is a generous-sized shelf-bra inside that offers support without too much constriction.
It's honestly one of the most comfortable tanks I've ever worn, and it's not too expensive either, for yoga gear at least. Buy it online at go2yas.com for $41.50.
I'm just not too sure about the morbid skull design. What do you think?

It seems to be a thoughtfully made, comfortable tank, but I'm not so sure I get the skulls, esp. for yoga?
1I don't know if I liek skulls all over my shirt. Maybe like one here and there, but I don't want to look like death!
2To me, the point of the skulls is 'yeah I do yoga - that doesn't mean I'm not bad a**!' I love it and think it's super cute.
3That's a valid point, kiddyInd. But I've seen cuter skull prints out there...although, i guess I've totally ruined it with the phrase "cuter skull prints."
4
Penny indeed! Cute & Skull Prints don't seem to go well now do they?
5the website has this as $41.50, yo. which is waaaaaay too much for a basic tank.
and honestly, i think skulls are so played out. you can express an indie/punk sensibility without having to look like all the other indie kids/punks out there. yoga in and of itself is punk as hell.
6It's ironic... that is why it's great.
7Too many skulls!
8totally andiself! That's what I was thinking...I think they're cool!
9Cool two years ago, but I agree, very played out now.
10Nope. Not 4 me!
11krampalicious, i just checked the website too bc i thought 14.50 was a great price for a tank like this! But the numbers must have been flipped.
12Have we not moved past the skull trend...?
13yea the numbers are flipped. .. .. its actually $41.50
14I wasn't aware I had navigated to hottopic.com... oops!
15Skulls r so dead and stinkin...no way.
16I like it. I think yoga clothes are always so "natural" as in boring. Never anything different. I like to show other sides of me and I think this is pretty neat. People say skulls are "over" but just because some anorexic starlet isn't wearing them right now doesn't mean other people aren't. I still see skulls all over the place. And personally, my favorite band (the Misfits) mascot is a skull. So I'll be wearing them long after they're "gone".
17I love skulls and crossbones...but sometimes a full blown print of it is too much. I usually would like one skull decoratively somewhere on the top...not really the pattern. I would definitely wear this though...its pretty cute. Skulls just arent for everyone...
18I agree with Renees3....totally.
Hearing something like..."Oh that is so last year.." or whatever is kind of a silly thing to say...i dont follow what the starlets are wearing, in fact most of the time i HATE what they are wearing. To each his/her own...i always say.
19Booo 41.50...I was getting all excited!!! LoL
20Too steep for a tank!
21the design is fine, though I am wary of it. (I have never really cared for "athletic tanks" or most sportswear in general.) the skull design could be fine but it is so overdone now. not that I particularly give a damn about trends; just that when you see it all over the place and it is worn just because of the trend, it gets tiresome. on the right person, I imagine I would love it, though. at least, I would appreciate them for it.
22the skull thing is one trend I will never see myself in
23I thought it was pretty cute, and I was all excited to get it for $14.50, but I am not willing to shell out $41.50 for silly skulls.
24Skulls aren't morbid! I love 'em!
25it's not my style, which is why i voted 'not cool.' but i could definitely appreciate someone else wearing it. i bet it'd look cute on someone who knew how to appropriately rock it
26I'm tired of the skulls-plus people who try so hard to look different by dressing like an entire less-mainstream group make me laugh. Clothes don't make me believe you're a "badass" or not. Also, I really don't care if you're a badass, indie, punk, rockabilly, whatever kind of person.
27The skull look when the Pirates died.
28i'm soooo over the skull look
29I'm a little tired of skulls too...plus it looks a little short for someone with a long torso like me, but speaking as someone who has had her boobs pop out at yoga class before, I'd rather take the skull tank that kept the girls in than the solid that didn't.
of course, I learned my lesson pretty fast after that and don't trust built in sports bras in tanks..oh well...
30I picked other. I like the skull design but I've seen cuter skull shirts. This isn't all that special, I saw pink ones just like that at T.J. Maxx for $7.99.
It's not morbid, it's just a tanktop.
31Nothing very exciting about it to make it worth the price.
32I don't get the skulls that are so popular lately, but I just bought a pair of Skechers with pink and black skulls on them anyway! If someone could explain it to me, it might help. I guess I thought I'd look hip?
33Skulls have always been cool....too bad everyone else thinks so now....trendy :/
34Love it
but I agree with carolbob, I think it's become trendy and that pisses me
off. I used to wear things with skulls and skully jewelry in High School and everyone thought it was weird, not trendy and cool. Which made me love them more. Now Paris Hilton wears them and
it really pisses me off...LOL!
35Ew.
36I like the idea behind it and the design sounds great, but maybe a different pattern, or more options.
37Personally I would wear that one, but I'd accentuate it with pink.
Not my taste. Teenagers stuff.
38I love it!!
39Its okay looking, its not great! plus the most i would pay for a tank is probably 25 to 30 dollars!
40I like it, but not going for the colour or the skulls. If it was available in different shades and/or patterns, then FO SURE!
