I'm not going to lie to you. I love carbs. Warm bread with olive oil, real macaroni and cheese, and pumpkin chocolate chip scones are a few of my faves. The big problem is that those foods tend to be high in calories, and if I eat too many, my jeans let me know. I don't live without them, though; I just keep my carb intake in check by eating mostly whole grains and eat them with plenty of lean protein, veggies, and fruits. What about you? Do you find carbs hard to resist?

I enjoy carbs but stay away from processed carbs like bread, pasta etc. I am more into potatoes, veggies and fruits. On days that I don't work out I cut back on my carbs
1The longer that I go without them, the less I want them. Works for me! I do love a baked sweet potato though!
2I LOVE PASTA! That is one thing I will NEVER give up. I did swap out the meat sauce for veg sauce though, my hips don't grow so much now.
3Come Easter I am also a big sucker for hot cross buns.
Bread is my weakness - just like you fit - Warm Bread with Olive oil and a little bit pepper .... How can I resist that?
4It's definitely harder for me to stay away from processed carbs around that time of the month. Otherwise I can do without them.
5The reason we all can't get away from carbs like bread and pasta is because they are actually addictive. Carbohydrates, especially simple/refined ones, process in the body just like sugar. The more we eat, the more we want. It wasn't until I cut out grain products altogether (even whole grains) and got my carbohydrate intake from fruits and vegetables that I stopped having cravings for bread. The only way to set yourself free from the "addiction" is to stop having them! You can get adequate carbs from fruits and vegetables and they won't put your body in a sugar response.

I'm terrible when it comes to carbs. Pasta, bread, french fancies (mmm!). I'm starting to cut down on them now because they don't agree with me too much. But carb-y foods just taste so good!
7I loves me some carbs! Not so much processed carbs though, its mostly whole grain. Sometimes late at night I'll feel like eating a bowl of oatmeal!
8Yes! I love all the things Fit mentioned.
9Since I can't eat a ton of carbs, I've kind of lost my craving for them. I've found some pretty good (and some barely passable) alternatives for the upcoming holiday season. I've got the low carb pumpkin pie down, but the gingerbread has been a challenge.
10Don't really like the taste of bread, pasta, potatoes so those were easy to give up. I eat whole grain rice and cereal though. I just make sure my portion of veggies is always bigger than my portion of carbs or meat.
11There is no way that I could ever live on a low-carb diet.
12There is almost nothing better than hot bread, fresh from the oven. . . along with cupcakes, cakes, brownies etc. I'm a carbaholic. Love love love them. I try to keep to whole grain, whole wheat, fiber rich carbs tho, especially fruits.
My girlfriend went on the South Beach diet recently and I nearly dropped in a faint when she said she couldn't eat fruit for the first 2 weeks. I practically live off of fruit. :\
13I used to be a carb queen, but since I've changed my eating habits and have gotten healthier with my nutrition, I don't crave the carbs like I used to. It's only on occasion that I crave them.
14I am from an Asian household so a meal isn't a meal without rice. I have been much better about avoiding white rice though. Brown rice has become much more prevalent at dinnertime.
15I eat carbs. But I do watch how much. I am on a high protein diet now. But I won't cut out carbs.
16I go a little coo koo for soft bread, so I don't keep it in the house.
17I LOVE pasta but I have a hard time losing weight when I take in too many carbs. I now only eat Fiber Gourmet pastas when I crave the carbs, and it's helped me lose 100lbs already (with 30 to go!). It's a little pricey, but totally worth it. Their website is http://www.fibergourmet.com/ (I'm not affiliated with them in any way - just a happy customer)
18No, I eat carbs in moderation. Oddly enough, I don't like rice, pasta, or bread (from yeast).
My carbs of choice are muffins and high-fiber cereals
19Yep, I love carbs. Love them. However, I have a sensitivity to white, processed carbs - they often give me gas/a stomachache afterward, so I try to avoid them. I also can't really go all-out on carbs without almost instantly seeing it on my waistline, regardless of whether they're whole grain or not...it's really annoying.
Before I was on the pill, I never had the 'carbs make me fat' philosophy, but ever since, it does seem to be the case (to some extent anyway). Overall, I try to eat in a balanced way, and eat carbs in small portions because that approach seems to mesh best with my body. It's always a struggle to rein myself in, though, especially with warm bread and pasta.
20I love carbs and sometimes it is hard, but I simply do not eat a carb with every meal. Instead, I use lots of veggies. I will place fish or chicken on a bed of kale or spinach instead of rice. I also go for whole grains. It is a love hate relationship because overloading on carbs causes an immediate impact on my body.
21I do rice and pasta....but no other carbs. With two diabetics in the house I am cautious about what I have in the house. It just seems unfair to have things here they cannot eat.
22I love carbs too much so there is no way that I could ever live on a low-carb diet. I try to eat processed carbs in moderation but am always munching on fruit and veggies.
23I don't really eat refined carbs like bread or white rice or cookies/cakes/etc. I mostly get my carbs from fruits, veggies, oats, etc. and I don't ever really "crave" anything starchy.
24Love them, can't live without them, especially during cold weather season. However, I do my best to take the whole wheat/grain option when available.
25I used to be a carb fiend, need to have and must have carbs whenever possible, often had meals with just carbs and little other things (very unhealthy). But I blame it on growing up eating rice for every meal, and shedding that habit was hard. Now I recognized I need to have a small dose of carbs in every meal, but I pick whole grains. I have white carbs sparingly, and it's usually a treat.
26When the weather is colder - commit carbicide
27carbs are definitely my favourite foods. Especially fatty carbs!
