My PMS symptoms seem to be getting worse as I get older. Is it just me, or does your sore chest bother you when doing cardio too? Ugh. Since misery loves company, tell me . . .

How about all of the above?
Leg pain!
from age 12-50, it was moodiness, but now that i'm 60 - hot flashes and night sweats.
I guess I have to say food cravings. When you are dieting and craving chocolate for 4 days... it's conflicting, but honestly all of them are a pain in the rear.
I get cramps and nausea for a few days right before my period comes.
My recurring PMS symptoms seem to just be weight gain and crying for no reason.
I can get really b*tchy when my hormones are in flux, and have definitely bit my husband's head off once or twice. A good run has been a great at evening everything out.
Headaches - I get knock down drag out migraines.
The bloating, its usually the only PMS symptom I have
Moodiness, depression and crying for no reason. The pill helps with most of that, but once I'm on the sugar pill at the end, all hell breaks loose until the new cycle has started. Hate it.
Cramps cramps cramps. Although since giving birth they're not as bad...now I'm just a moody cow!
I go insane the week before, during, and a few days after my period. Like having to stop myself from crying at least 4 or 5 times a day. I haven't found a BC pill that helps with this yet, so if anyone has any tips please let me know!
Do we really only get to choose just one? I vote "all of the above."
Yea its hard to choose just one but i find being more active cured my cramps, just need to figure out how to cure my food cravings and moodiness.
does anybody else get an upset stomach the first day of their period? ugh it is hell... and the bloating and sore back!
I don't get bad PMS symptoms, but during the week + of my period the migraines and fatigue make me practically useless. I take the pill continuously and skip the placebo pills to avoid these problems.
Whitney, perhaps you should try Yaz. It's supposed to help women with PMDD. I haven't tried it personally because my pharmacy doesn't carry it, so I can't vouch for it. Try talking to your doc about it though. Oh, and a little bit of advice - if you can talk to a female doc, do! Whenever I discussed my emotional rollercoaster with a male doc, he'd shrug it off. The female doc was much more understanding.
CRAMPS!!!!
I could deal with all the physical symptoms, but it's the moodiness, crying, and lashing out at people that I hate the most.
xtinabeena, with the pic of a dog saying it, your comment is really funny! :0)
It used to be the cramps, but that went away when I started using B/C pills. Now it's between the moodswings and the food cravings! I'll hate to see what I'm like if I get pregnant.
The pill mostly regulates my bloating, but I get really gassy
Also, I become CRAZY HUNGRY -
not for specific foods, but just for FOOD in general. Ugh.
I get all of the above in a pretty bad way, but I count fatigue as the worst because it prevents me from being able to keep to a regular workout schedule. If I could actually manage to work out consistently for a month straight I'd be one happy (albeit moody, crampy, bloated, and generally insane) girl!
Mine is Fatigue, Extreame Moodiness, crying, Headaches. I Bleed so heavy for 1 or 2 days I can't do anything. I am deid tired that I can hardly get out of bed & I get so moody that I get b*tchy with myself. I only go for 3 days usually though.
I can't believe CRAMPS wasn't an option!!!!
Crazy hunger cravings, bloating and moodiness.
Let's not forget the cramps...they can be the WORST!!!!
I've always had killer cramps, but now I have the added pleasure of teenage acne and ridiculous carb cravings!
I get these mind numbing debilitating cramps that make me wish I was a boy. It's not normal stomach pains where the pain is higher up in my abdomen, it's lower down and no matter how I am positioned, I cannot get comfortable.
Leg pain , yeahhh it hurst and tummy pain.
The bloating, definitely. Once I got on the pill, I stopped having cramps so much, but I still do get super bloated right before my period starts. I HATE it.
Oh man all of them. Uber soreness, uber moodiness, constant and never ending cravings for CHOCOLATE (I want that slice of cake in the picture ^_^), nausea, pre period cramps, tiredness, etc etc.
Since I went on BC, most of the symptoms have gone, though I Still crave cake.
I was just talking about this with my sister...the food cravings I get are ridiculous. I get intense cravings for both chocolate and salty stuff.
Cramps are the worst!
Just the need to EAT for two weeks prior, just can't stop the need for food, specially carbs, hate it!
they are all horrible but I HATE getting bloated, you feel so gross when you can fit in your jeans nicely.
the only thing that bugs me about my period besides breaking out sometimes is cramps right before it starts - usually my upper thighs and obvously my abdomen. killer.
cramps should have been a choice. and just an all around gross, yucky feeling and paranoia like everyone knows. i do find myself more creative at this time though. the bloating is disgusting. i basically get all of it. can't tolerate the pill. and its weight gain. whenever it rolls around i just want my female parts removed. its such an inconvenience. there should be more understanding towards it from employers and the general public.
Ahh yes, cramps! I guess I'd lump that one with the bloated belly and constipation.
food cravings and being bloated!
I debated between moodiness and food cravings... but at least food cravings mean you get to enjoy something... moodiness is just.... bad for everyone!
breaking out
i don't really suffer from PMS. if I do - i can take it, but during the period time the cramps are killing me, i went on the pill to keep it under control.
ALL OF THE ABOVE!!!
Where the hell are cramps on the list?! Who the hell made this list, they are an idiot. How can make a list of PMS problems and not have cramps on the list?
MIGRAINES!!!
