Potato Salad

Classic potato salad contains about 179 calories in a 1/2 cup. If you want to try a mayo-less version, consider a potato salad with a mustard vinaigrette dressing.

And if you loved the Greek yogurt dressing on the wedge salad, there's also a Greek yogurt-blended potato salad that hits all the right notes: make one with traditional potato salad favorites like mustard, cayenne pepper or paprika, and red onion, but cut out much of the fat by ditching the mayo.

Really, any salad anywhere can be made into a smart choice if you just put the dressing on the side (why even use cream dressings anyways? gross) and hold the cheese. I say some meat on a salad is ok--gotta have that protein!
