If you are looking for a milk substitute that looks like milk, tastes like milk, but isn't cow's milk, allow me to introduce you to my friend — goat's milk. In my house, goat's milk is used for hot chocolate, in sauces and is poured over cereal. Forewarning: Goat's milk does have a bit of an aftertaste that lingers in your mouth, but you get use to it after awhile.
Goat's milk is really good for your body, too. Containing a variety of vitamins and minerals, including calcium, phosphorus, potassium, vitamin B and protein, and because it's easy for your stomach to digest, goat's milk is a very healthy cow's milk alternative option!
