When you go outside in the summer, you've got to protect your eyes from the harmful rays of the sun. Sunglasses are great, but with some fast-paced sports and activities, you don't want to worry about them flying off or having them break. Working out in the hot sun makes my face get really hot and sweaty, and I hate when the lenses get all fogged up, don't you? Plus, the really good sunglasses are so expensive, and I'm always worried about losing them.
The solution? Nike Maxsight is an innovative, fully tinted soft contact lens, so you can wear your sunglasses without the frames.
They provide distortion-free sight, for both prescription and non-prescription contact lens wearers. They cover your entire pupil and iris (the black and colored parts), eliminating glare and enhancing contrast. They filter out more than 90% of harmful blue light and 95% of UVA and UVB.
You can get Nike Maxsight contact lenses in 2 colors: Grey-Green for running or training, and Amber for fast-paced sports like soccer and tennis.
Fit's Tips: Call your eye doctor and ask them about Nike Vision. I did and Nike actually sent me a FREE trial pair. Want to see what they look like? Then read more
| They just look like really dark contact lenses, like ones you'd get for Halloween or something. I put a Nike Maxsight contact lens next to my regular contact lens so you can see the difference. With normal lighting, my eyes didn't turn into alien eyes - they just looked really dark. These are the grey-green color, although they look kind of brown in my eyes. I have to say I LOVED them. It did take a few minutes for my eyes to adjust, but it felt like I was wearing polarized sunglasses. They blocked out the sun and I had crystal clear vision. If you love to be outdoors, and hate having to deal with wearing sunglasses, I would definitely recommend getting a pair of Nike Maxsight contact lenses. That way, you'll be protected completely and never have to worry about losing your sunglasses again. |

I need these when I go running. I wear glasses/sunglasses when I go out. The sweat makes them slide off my face. I have to push them up and they hurt my ears cause I'm wearing them with my ipod headphones.
1Wearing glasses sucks.
Rachelbojangles - I totally agree. I started wearing glasses when I was in 4th grade and when my Dad took me to get contacts in 7th grade, it was one of the best days of my life!
2Ditto - I've been wearing glasses since third grade and contacts since 7th!
These look amazing and I'm definitely going to call my optometrist and see if I can get a pair.
3I have never been able to successfully wear contacts, but these would be pretty sweet if I could!
4that's incredible. I'd totally wear them if i didn't have a fear of sticking things in my eyes.
5this is great! I have been wearing glasses since gr 4 and contacts since gr 8....although the past year i haven't been wearing contacts as much because of dry eye issues, it would be great if i could try these. although...it does make ur eyes look sort of scary =)
6when i wear sunglasses when working out or walking on a rather humid day, sweat develops so much faster around my eyes, it's like a sauna. What if I have perfect eyesight, can I still wear these contacts?
7interesting product, reminds me of those halloween "demon eyes" contacts.
8You might want to check the package again. You have the amber ones. I have the green/grey ones and you can definitely tell that they are green, even when I wear them.
9whoa, that's weird. I'm totally into trying that, though.
10wow thats crazy >O-O
11You have looong eyelashes!
12i just got contacts three days ago and i love them!!!!!!
13i have needed glass since fifth grade and as i have gotten older i love having them- it's a way be different from everyone else. but my only gripe about them (as well as sunglassses) is that after a couple of months the sides become very stretched out so when i sweat, they keep sliding down and that's how my calvin klein tortoise shell glasses broke- they slid all the way off and onto the concrete! the nose broke so i had to get a new pair so i just bought some cheap tortoise ones. i am definitely going to loook into this! do you wear them daily or what? are they just for outdoor?
14Great idea, but sooo freaky looking! They remind me of the Halloween "demon eyes" too!
15OMG, these are amazing! Can't wait to try them!
16Looks cool - scary! One good thing about sunglasses, though - better protection for eyelids and the skin around the eyes.
17they look a little creepy, but its a great idea, would eb up to try it
18i looooove these!!
19creepy
20THESE LOOK AMAZING! I want some just to wear to the beach to prevent Racoon Eyes!
21wait is going to my eye doctor the only way to get these?? because i plan on using these for tennis!!! i wanna see if i can get a couple. one for training and 1 for tennis playing
22Nike has discontinued these contacts. I don't know why but they did. My eye doctor gave me all the last pairs he had in my prescription so when these run out I don't know what I'm going to do. Check around with other eye professionals to see if they have any in stock that they cant use.
