So I am curious: In general are you more attracted to a man with a chiseled bod (Matthew McConaughey), or one who is more average (Matthew Perry)?

definitely the average man. i feel like men who are way too chiseled and muscular must have too much time on their hands and they're spending it at the gym.
1I've dated both kinds, and yeah the Heman type is nice to look at, and have as arm candy, but the ones I dated were high maintenance and always concerned about looks, which included how I looked too. Average guys care more about substance than surface. My two cents.

22Average looking guy--gotta figure he'd spend some of his free time on interests other than his looks, and eye candy looses its lure once you want a conversation. I definitely like a guy who takes care of himself and doesn't engage in risky/illicit behavior, but he can't be too into appearance.

I see nothing wrong with a guy who is into fitness as much as I am, but agree that someone too into himself isn't attractive.

34I hate the bodies of people who aspire to be bodybuilders, the ones with way too much muscle. Bodybuilders aren't attractive, only the women can look half good. The average man is fine for me, just not the one in the pic.
i like the average but who takes care of himself. i don't want to feel intimidated that i don't go to the gym everyday and have this chisled guy next to me
35I do not feel this is a fair choice. The average guy should of been someone different. It doesn't matter to me I am attracted to different kinds of men. Some may be average or muscled that is not what I look at. That is just a lagniappe of the package.
36I don't care for MM anyway, but knowing the guy is more fit than me can be intimidating and I personally don't feel the need to go all fitness crazy with him. The average guy is more my type. And big muscles scare me.
37Of those two options, something in between. My husband's very fit and has nice muscle definition, but not so much that it looks like he spends all his time at the gym. I'm not attracted to guys who overdo it in either direction.
38I prefer healthy over anything. I have dated the athlete, the skin and bones, and the slightly pudgey. Right now, I love my boyfriend's body. He's healthy and not vain. He loves life and doesn't obsess over his ab definition. That's what I like.

I have a thing for washboard abs. I don't feel intimidated by guys with muscles, as long as they don't look like they are pumped full of steroids. Matthew's size is fine, but I'd be happy with a little less definition too.
