You all may have figured out by now that I am a bit of a chocolate fiend -- I love that stuff. This is why I get so excited when I read news about the health benefits of chocolate. The recent discovery that dark chocolate may actually lower your blood pressure has really got me on a chocolate roll.

I wanted to share my latest discovery -- Right now I am loving Dolfin Chocolate Noir Extra Bitter ($3.49) because it is 88 percent cocoa and so yummy. Plus due to its richness, 30 calories (the amount you should eat daily to get the blood pressure lowering benefits) it is actually quite fulfilling. What's more? Well, since it has such a high percentage of cocoa you're also getting some antioxidants too! Buy some from WorldWideChocolate.com.
Yum!

Does anyone else break out when they eat really dark chocolate?? I'm fine with milk chocolate but my face erupts with very dark.
1wait...this chocolate bar only has 30 calories in it??
2While dark chocolate has been proven to lower BP, it is no excuse to go on a chocolate binge. Consuming MODERATE amounts MAY help IF you have high blood pressure and are of a certain age.

10I love a great piece of dark chocolate. The better the chocolate, the less I eat. I will buy a bar and then eat a small portion for an after dinner treat. It helps to keep the binges away and it's got those antioxidants too. Yum.
11Dolfin is great! I also like Lake Champlain chocolates - a little creamier and sweeter but very good.
12I LOVE Dolfin chocolate. The 'hot masala' flavor is amazing. It's like rich cocoa with spicy chai. Loveliest treat ever!
